Jonathon is also a major anime fan, having been exposed to the medium through shows like Sailor Moon and Revolutionary Girl Utena. Finance is provided by PayPal Credit (a trading name of PayPal UK Ltd, Whittaker House, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond-Upon-Thames, Surrey, United Kingdom, TW9 1EH).

Since then, Jonathon has maintained a passion for anime, watching most new shows each season and hunting down overlooked gems from previous ones. Volume 2 also did a great job wrapping up the prologue and I’m so excited to see where our characters go now! The art style is delightfully retro, so readers who grew up with 90s manga will also get a big hit of nostalgia from Night of the Living Cat, further adding to the book's appeal.

I enjoy the comedy of the series, there were also some mystery elements in the story but I don't really care about the whole mystery aspect, to be honest. Night of the Living Cat is a fantastic manga that perfectly blends comedy and horror into one tight package. Nothing violent is actually going on and he's using common everyday cat items to solve issues, like catnip to attract or incapacitate the cats, cat toys to distract them, water to repel and all this while being incredibly upset about the cats "hating him now" and having extreme internal clashes of conscience.

While I don't want to bring up logic here since it's clearly something of a gag manga, the art style is so serious and gritty and the conversations/actions are dramatic and "real" so that it clashes with the gag feeling and I can't help but think of it.

This is the story of a man who has lost many of his friends to the cats and his fight to save humanity. Of course even with a to be continued at the end of the chapter I wonder how long this series will last. This is made worse as the cats can spread the virus merely by nuzzling and cuddling, making it very hard to defend yourself against the crafty felines once a horde finds and surrounds you. Rhymer probably worked very hard to make the original dialogue at least readable and probably that it was originally atrocious.A virus spreads across the world, transforming all humankind into wild, slavering, furry beasts: cats, to be precise. The artwork is pretty solid, more of an old school manga style, the dialogue is really trite and cutesy. The item was wrapped perfectly and dispatched same day, it arrived next day and I couldn't be happier. The logic of the whole thing is incredibly questionable and I guess that's where the "comedy" is supposed to come from.

Read all When the Parasol Corporation 'accidentally' releases the C Virus into Ferret City's water supply, all of the Cat Girls begin dying. But when a peculiar white kitty with a large jewel produces an earsplitting screech, all the cats in the city converge on their location! You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. A pandemic breakout of the virus NN has turned humans into cats one after another and the remaining ones have to fight for their survival. While there was a moment in the first book reminded me of The Mist, there’s moments in this book that remind me of World War Z.
