Description

You won’t be going in alone, however. Escalation brings four new Explorers to the game (and one very loyal Servitor!), offering you new options for your adventures and allowing you to own some iconic characters in plastic, like an Adeptus Ministorum Crusader and Primaris Psyker. [1] Vigilus Defiant • Vigilus Ablaze • Shadowspear • Psychic Awakening ( Phoenix Rising • Faith and Fury • Blood of Baal • Ritual of the Damned • The Greater Good • Saga of the Beast • Engine War • War of the Spider • Pariah) The Crusader is just as sharp as the power sword that he carries into battle. When he fights, it’s as though the God-Emperor himself guides Gotfret’s hand, adding to his already considerable skill. Teamwork has never been more important, now that you’ll have to face down powerful new enemies. These new explorers offer additional opportunities to work together and enhance the entire team, including the original adventurers. Deadly Threats

The Chaos Cultists from Escalation are amazing value for their points. If you need a unit to camp on an objective while pumping out fire with their heavy stubber and grenade launcher, look no further! Daedalosus is a Tech-Priest character with 5 wounds and a 4+ armor save. He gets the Canticles of the Omnissiah rules and even has a 5+ invulnerable save. He’s got a once per game tool called the Archeotech Device that can heal or deal D3 mortal wounds to something within 3″ of him. On top of that, friendly Admech around him can add 1 to the hit rolls of a target he designates with the Omniscanner. Not too shabby! Neyam Shai Murad You are Primaris Psyker Aradia Madellan. Your psychic powers will prove to be absolutely invaluable in the exploration of the fortress – in fact, your precognitions are the reason that Neyam Shai Murad came in the first place. And yes, that is my card…Rogue Trader Neyam ( 50 pts): She’s like the GSC Kelermorph LITE. With eight shots at -2 AP if she stands still, she’ll be able to blap smaller squads on-foot. The Primaris Psyker Aradia is able to use her precognitive abilities to make other players more effective. Her unique action, Psychic Boost, will help your team succeed on crucial actions. Mind over matter and all that. Some of the other Cultists are equipped with heavier weaponry, including grenade launchers and heavy stubbers, to make you pay dearly for every inch you advance into their demesne. No-one quite knows where the Servitor X-101 came from, but it’s clearly been outfitted for salvage duties with various industrial loading and hauling attachments.*** Of course, if an enemy vehicle isn’t quite ready for salvage yet, X-101 can ensure that it soon will be. He’s a character which means that he can’t be targetted too easily and is on the cheap in terms of points. You can throw this guy on an objective and be fairly confident that he’ll be able to defend it for a turn or two. Servitor X-101

Space Marines • Chaos Space Marines • Grey Knights • Death Guard • Astra Militarum • Adeptus Mechanicus • Craftworlds • Tyranids • Dark Angels • Blood Angels • Chaos Daemons • Adeptus Custodes • Thousand Sons • T'au Empire • Necrons • Drukhari • Deathwatch • Harlequins • Imperial Knights • Space Wolves • Gellerpox Infected • Elucidian Starstriders • Orks • Genestealer Cults • Vanguard Space Marines • Daemonkin • Chaos Space Marines II • Chaos Knights • Space Marines II • Adepta Sororitas Prologue mission "Light in the Dark" including exclusive artefact card (Blessed Aquila) - White Dwarf December 2018 the Crusader Gotfret ( 35 pts): melee powerhouse considering the cost. a 3++ invuln and multiple wounds mean he’ll be able to go toe-to-toe with other light infantry objective grabbers. If these incredible miniatures look familiar to you, it may be because they were first seen in the tie-in game Warhammer 40,000: Combat Arena. They’ve finished their journey to Precipice, and now they’re ready to scour the taint of Chaos with extreme prejudice. It’s not just the good guys getting some reinforcements, but the Servants of the Abyss, with a brand new set of cultists, led by a literal Firebrand. These guys feature a more occult and barbarous aesthetic than their Traitor Guard brethren from the main set, helping shed some light on the dizzying diversity of the Slaves to Darkness. [1] Gallery This much-anticipated new boxed set for Kill Team features two complete kill teams – one Adeptus Astartes and one T’au Empire – the Kill Team Core Manual and all of the cards, tokens and dice that you need to play. It also comes with a double-sided gameboard and six frames of Sector Mechanicus scenery, giving you an entire industrial Killzone for you to fight over.

Armed with a matching pair of pistols, Rogue Trader Murad is the finest gunslinger since the Kellermorph first drew its guns.* If she doesn’t move, she can pump out a hail of bullets, meaning that she always gets the upper hand in any “negotiations”. If you’ve got a Sisters of Battle army (or you’re getting ready to play one in 2019!), Taddeus can be added to your army and provides the same War Hymns ability as standard Ministorum Priest which will even work on nearby Astra Militarum units. Ultramarines • White Scars • Iron Hands • Raven Guard • Salamanders • Imperial Fists • Silver Templars Hostiles in grey plastic: Obsidius Mallex, Chaos Lord; 2 Chaos Space Marines of the Servants of the Abyss; 4 Chaos Beastmen; 4 Ur-Ghuls; 4 Negavolt Cultists; 2 Rogue Psykers; 4 Spindle Drones and 14 Traitor Guardsmen. [2] The Rogue Trader out of the bunch is the new Imperial gunslinger with two Negotiator pistols. If she doesn’t move, these are boosted to four shots a pop for a total of 8 -2AP shots! On top of that, she can get on any transport she wants and enemy units don’t get a cover bonus. For a little T3 body, she’s able to pop out of any ride and hose down some screens. Gotfret De MontbardCultist Firebrands are absolutely deadly at mid-range, and they also inflame the zeal of nearby Cultist hostiles. Their bodies are swollen with infernal power… so let’s just say you don’t want to be standing close to one when they’re killed…
