If you have any questions or wish to have a chat about any of the above please do call us on 07795221110 and we will be delighted to help - best wishes, Andrew The bottom strap is detachable and has two snap positions: 90 degrees and 110 degrees. If room on the risers is tight, use the 90 deg. snap, which keeps the folder open at 90 deg. If not, spread out a bit wider with the 110 deg. snap as space allows. The setup charge is based on area. Math is not your friend here, as you may recall that doubling the sides of a square quadruples the area, and the cost. 1 inch=2.54cm for the metrically inclined; the print industry here still uses Imperial measurements. Principal auxilary instruments (piccolo, english horn, bass clarinet, contrabassoon, wagner tuba, cornet & euphonium) are linked to their respective instruments with either a "d" if the same player doubles the auxiliary instrument, or a "+" if an extra player is required. Instruments shown in parenthesis are optional and may be omitted. N.B. Don't trust the screen or print size which you see to be precise, but rather, note that we have listed the point size of each font.

Note that if none of our listed fonts matches your existing typestyle, we can print anything in any font when it is done graphically as a logo (details are in next folder customization tab for logos). Whether you sing at school, in church, or with your local choral society, you’ll know there’s one accessory no choir should be without – a set of sturdy folders to protect and organise your sheet music. Pricing for Extended line lengths up to 45 characters (any longer line requires a different press):Excellent service and very professional look. Choir are impressed and did'nt think they would look as good as they do!" James Wilder - Master of Singing & Choral Music

Your image is printed to film then exposed under UV light on a coated plate, then etched, to produce the hot-stamping die which is carefully leveled on the press to produce an even imprint. There is a setup charge, then a stamping cost per folder. I, and the choir are absolutely delighted with the folders, the logo looks great. Thank you for your brilliant service - I will be more than pleased to recommend you to anyone interested" Ian Lingwood from Chetnole Community Choir Made form hard wearing polypropylene, so it is durable enough to withstand classrooms and school choirs Choral folder sleevesWe can imprint your folders with a logo, or imprint any text layout in any font exactly as you want, because it is done as an image.

Thus, the Copland Fanfare shown above is for 3 Trumpets, 4 Horns, 3 Trombones, no Euphonium, 1 Tuba and Tympani. There is no separate number for Bass Trombone, but it can generally be assumed that if there are multiple Trombone parts, the lowest part can/should be performed on Bass Trombone. Letterpress Text imprinting is imprinting with moveable type, ready for us to do in-house right away with no die-casting or logo etching processes to slow things down. Turnaround time is usually 1 to 3 business days. We offer both upper and lower case letters for excellent legibility, in either the standard 36 pt. Times Roman font, or in an elegant script-like font called Brush. Sometimes there are instruments in the ensemble other than those shown above. These are linked to their respective principal instruments with either a "d" if the same player doubles the instrument, or a "+" if an extra player is required. Whenever this occurs, we will separate the first four digits with commas for clarity. Thus a double reed quartet of 2 oboes, english horn and bassoon will look like this: Depending on the logo, you do want sufficiently large area to prevent fine detail from being obscured, or small detailed spaces filled in, when printing on the textured leatherette material. Our maximum imprint area without outsourcing is 5"x12" (or 12"x5") but logos with good line separation can be done very nicely at a 2x2 or 3x3 size, for example. Roughly 90% of the logos we print are between 4 and 12 square inches, mostly at the higher range. A school might have a crest with text beneath it, for example, and 3" wide by 4" high is usually ideal. We're off to Germany tomorrow; I'm sure the boys will be absolutely thrilled with their new folders"I am absolutely delighted and totally over the moon with the finished product and I know the choir will feel exactly the same when they see them!! Thank you so much for all the hardwork, it definitely paid off. Will send a photograph of us and the folders at our next performance. Magazine Holders: A magazine holder is a thin strip of plastic, with a long slot in it and three holes, to clip into your rings when you have a folder that has a 3-ring set of rings. The slot holds up to 11" tall music (not the taller A4 size). The hand strap on the spine and stabilizing strap on the bottom make this choral folder easy to hold securely with one hand. The hand strap is nice woven webbing, not plastic!

You can open your music score flat, and slide it in through the slot, close it around the magazine holder, then clip it in the exact spot it needs to be in your concert programme. And for those who just prefer not to punch holes in their music, especially when it will hit a music staff... and want the organizational convenience of a ring binder system. The Performerchoral music folder weighs only 13 oz. but can hold a whole concert of music. It boasts 8 elastic cords, or add an extra set of elastic cords and have room for more music. The second example is common for a concert band or wind ensemble piece. This ficticious work is for 2 flutes (plus piccolo), 1 oboe, 3 clarinets plus alto and bass clarinets, 2 bassoons, 5 saxes (soprano, 2 altos, tenor & bari), 2 trumpets (plus 2 cornets), 3 trombones, euphonium, tuba, tympani, percussion and double bass. Note the inclusion of the saxes after bassoon for this band work. Note also that the separate euphonium part is attached to trombone with a plus sign. For orchestral music, saxes are at the end (see Saxophones below. It is highly typical of band sets to have multiple copies of parts, especially flute, clarinet, sax, trumpet, trombone & percussion. Multiples, if any, are not shown in this system. The numbers represent only distinct parts, not the number of copies of a part. Whether you sing at school, in church, or with your local choral society, you’ll know there’s one accessory no choir should be without – a set of sturdy folders to protect and organise your sheet music. At Chamberlain Music, we offer choral music folders that are not only durable and functional but also stylish and professional, perfect for education environments and the stage. We also offer services that allow you to customise your folder’s design, as well as plastic sleeves to organise your individual sheets and protect your music from the elements. Very good quality folders, all the features one wants, and very light" BARTS Choir - One of the oldest and largest choral societies in London People often ask us about "PJBE" or "Philip Jones" instrumentation. This is a special instrumentation adopted and perfected by the Philip Jones Brass Ensemble. It consists of the forces 414.01, and often includes Percussion and/or Tympani. In addition, there are often doublings in the Trumpet section
