Following on from my Dairy Milk Premier League bar review, Cadbury has unveiled two chocolate footballs set to hit stores this month and in November. These terms and conditions are governed by English Law and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh Courts. Except mobile phones used for personal and private use only, you may not bring into (or use within) any Club’s stadium any equipment that is capable of recording or transmitting any audio, visual or audio-visual material or any information or data in relation to a match or any aspect of it. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this promotion or accepting or using the prize (including to any guests), except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other form of compensation. If a winning entry is deemed not to comply with these conditions of entry, the entry will be discarded and the prize will be lost. Entry is open only to residents of the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland aged 18 and over. Directors, management and employees and their immediate families of the Promoter or the agencies or companies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. The Promoter may refuse to award a Prize in the event of any entrant’s fraud, dishonesty, breach or non-entitlement under these Terms & Conditions or seek recovery of its value if the Prize(s) has/have been awarded.

HOW THEY WORK

Cadbury insists the footballs "are designed to be shared with friends, family or even rival fans," but I respectfully disagree. Nobody else would be helping themselves to my chocolate football. Are these solid chocolate footballs? Alas not. Think of a round, football-shaped Easter egg and you'll be on the right playing field.

The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, corrupted or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction, transmission interruption, communications failure or otherwise. Promotion Period:00:00 on 25 April 2020 (‘’Opening Date’’) to 17:00 on 26 March 2021 (‘’Closing Date’’). Following the Promotion Period, there will be a final draw (“Wrap Up Draw”) on 15/05/2021 for any claims made after the Closing Date up until 23:59 on 14/05/2021 (the “Wrap Up Period”) as conducted by PromoVeritas. The Clubs reserve the right to eject from a stadium any person who fails to comply with applicable terms or conditions of entry.For the avoidance of doubt, the Prize does not include travel/transportation, accommodation, food, beverages, souvenirs, gratuities, car parking charges, excess baggage, additional excursions and attractions or any other costs of a personal nature (including spending money) that are not explicitly set out in these Terms and Conditions and neither the Promoter nor any provider of any part of the Prize will be responsible for any such costs.
