Below are all racing wheels that will work with EA Sports WRC at launch on Xbox Series X|S consoles. This is a much shorter list than the PC wheel compatibility list above due to Xbox’s reduced compatibility with certain racing wheels. Resolved an issue where in the Ford Fiesta WRC 2019 the driver would pull the handbrake instead of the paddles to shift gears. AUTHENTICITY: Built on the foundations of over 25 years of rally-game heritage, drive the WRC, WRC2, and Junior WRC cars, with drivers, teams, and liveries from the 2023 season. Challenge yourself behind the wheel of the epic WRC cars and 70 historic vehicles.

Fixed an issue where in-game menus could not be navigated while using the Fanatec CSL Elite Wheel Base. DYNAMIC HANDLING SYSTEM - Codemasters’ renowned multi-surface handling model is improved for WRC. Tailor it to match your skill level and put it to the test on surface degradation I prefer the older games with the WRC branding, made by completely different developers. I’ve really only played WRC 9, so I can’t speak for the older games — or the two newer games in that series — but I feel like it has a better balance between realism and fun-to-play. But I might be in the minority in this opinion; it seems like most people prefer Dirt Rally.

Overview

Updated shader compilation to support weather variants, to further reduce the possibility of stutter on PC. Made a number of performance improvements and optimisations to Finland, including reducing the possibility of screen tearing. So I don’t know if I’ll like this game or not. Especially now that EA has their microtransaction-y hands all over it.

Fixed an issue where in-game menus could not be navigated while using the Fanatec ClubSport Steering Wheel BMW GT2 V2. Made a number of performance improvements and optimisations to Mediterraneo, including reducing the possibility of screen tearing. Personally, I didn’t like the latest games in either of those series. Dirt Rally 2.0 was so hardcore that it took the fun out of rally games, and Dirt 5 is unrecognizable as a rally game. I have to give credit to the fantastic car list, which features over 70 cars from the ’60s all the way to today’s bonkers Rally1 hybrids, and all of which sound superb. Are there holes in the roster? Sure, but it covers a superb range of classes and eras – especially the ’90s. As long as you’re not a Toyota fan, that is; the title-winning GR Yaris is obviously here (and front-and-centre on the PS5 box), but there’s no sign of the iconic Celica GT-Four or Corolla WRC. I can’t figure out whether Toyota needs to be delivered a gift basket or a flaming bag of dog poo to get them to play ball. At this point I’m willing to flip a coin. Ride 4 didn't impress (fair ideas, but hard/impossible even on easy for me to play the AI are too professional not matter the cornering, the settings I gave up after many hours of trying) enough so Ride 5 not interested really (if like Ride 1 & 2, 3 & 4 were changes and 5 is like 4 in a way so nah pass) if it's similar so little racing games I care for of current gen (besides little care already for it of other titles right now and just playing PS4 versions or PS4 old games right now besides retro games for older consoles). NFS open worlds (or any open world racing) aren't for me. GT7/Forza Motorsport haven't interested me.Cool ideas I seek (have many old racing games having a blast uncovering what had been done before, left behind, if they were gems or not), if the games themselves don't do much (besides well playing well) in the content areas of their career modes or eh driving models (if realistic it's fine if I can't play them that's on me to get good indeed though I am willing to). With this first game in the new WRC franchise, there are a lot of new features and improvements that have been implemented. We have the new builder mode which looks to be an in-depth form of career mode. You’ll be able to build your own custom WRC car from the ground up for the first time, with a wide range of mechanical, interior and exterior parts to choose from. EA Sports WRC boasts ten official WRC, WRC2, and Junior WRC cars from Ford, Toyota, and Hyundai. These include the new 4WD Rally1 hybrids introduced in last year's season that are some of the fastest cars in the sport’s history. These cars incorporate a hybrid system you'll need to manage. Braking charges the battery. Once charged, you'll get a speed boost when applying the throttle. EA Sports WRC is out now on PC, PS5, and Xbox. We've got everything you need to know about EA Sports WRC (WRC 23) right here. Latest news - Update 1.3 brings performance fixes

Changed the default Graphics settings for Reflections to Medium, when using High or Ultra graphics presets, to reduce CPU throttling (note: does not overwrite custom selected settings). Made a number of performance improvements and optimisations to Japan, including reducing the possibility of screen tearing. IMMERSIVE - Revel in euphoric moments as you battle the elements across dirt, snow and asphalt in the pursuit of the perfect run I was quite disappointed to see that visuals have not necessarily been upgraded even slightly since last year either, especially with objects pop-in being so obvious. For now, the 120 Hz mode seems to be the best way to play the game if your TV supports it. Rise to all the challenges of the most comprehensive, realistic and demanding rally simulation ever developed. Dive into the heart of the action and drive the cars from the 2022 WRC championship, including the new hybrid models. We also have a full list of compatible wheels for EA Sports WRC if you're not sure if yours will work. Fixed an issue where brightness in interior views was either over or underexposed in certain conditions at Mexico. Updated shader compilation to support seasonal variants, to further reduce the possibility of stutter on PC. Fixed an issue where in-game menus could not be navigated while using the Fanatec GT DD Pro with the Fanatec ClubSport Steering Wheel BMW GT2 V2. I hope the visual performance issues can be resolved soon in an update along with the bugs present in Career mode.
