What did you think of my Micralite ProFold review? Are you in the middle of choosing a new pram? If you have any further questions about this pram, feel free to leave a comment in the box below. Upon receiving the Sleep and go travel cot I was disappointed to find a hole in the mesh. Micralite were very understanding and arranged for a replacement to be sent... so far so good. Then we’re on to features. Again this will vary in importance depending on the type of toy you’re buying. You’ll no doubt have a view on whether you care about features or not for Prams and pushchairs. OK, so we’ve chatted about all the good things about the Micralite ProFold, what about the things that aren’t so good? For me, there’s only really one downside to this lightweight stroller and that’s the break… The badly placed brake The Micralite ProFold is the smoothest compact pushchair we’ve ever used. It actually made me realise how bumpy the Babyzen Yoyo is in comparison. The suspension on it makes a huge difference and makes this stroller a genuine option for everyday use as it can easily be used on most surfaces.

Freestanding, it takes up even less floor space wherever you store it, but it can also just about fit in the footwell of a large car. In a smaller car, you could rest it on its side in the footwell but you might prefer to leave it in the boot. The next step for us is to look at the products in the Prams and pushchairs category. In this category we found 134 product at Argos. You can’t beat a video review. As we mentioned earlier, one of the downsides to buying online is the inability to actually see and test the product. This is where videos can really help to bridge the gap and give you an almost just as good alternative. The Micralite ProFold Graphite comes with grey melange fabrics and a vegan faux leather handlebar and bumper bar for babies to hold on to. I love the look of it! It’s sleek and stylish and this graphite colour is lovely. The price of a product is another really good indicator of the quality because, as you’ll already know, you often get what you pay for. In the pricing section shortly you’ll see how the price of Micralite ProFold Pushchair compares to all of the other Prams and pushchairs available from our recommended retailer, Argos. As you can imagine, pricing is one of the most important factors of any purchasing decision. We can find the perfect product for our needs, that fits the brief in every single way. But if it doesn’t fit our budgets, we simply can’t (or at least shouldn’t) buy it. The next step was to try and narrow down our search even more. So we’ve already looked the prices of products in the Prams and pushchairs category. Then we’ve also looked at the prices of products from . So this step combines the two and looks specifically at the price you’d expect to pay for branded products in the Prams and pushchairs category.

The lie-flat position is also great for naps for kids of any age. The Micralite ProFold One-handed fold Thank you for reading our Micralite ProFold Pushchair review tips and guidance. As we mentioned earlier, if you do go on to buy one of these products mentioned, please do drop us a comment as it will be great help to other customers like you. Nathasha: The ProFold makes your life easier by making the compact stroller an actual everyday use stroller too. You could readily swap this out for your usual pram once your child is big enough. I would probably wait until at least 6 months as these lightweight prams don’t have the cocoon effect that other sturdier prams offer. But it gives you the freedom to reduce your pram footprint early on without compromising on comfort for your child. I love how small it folds down to and how neatly it stands in the hallway. Very handy if you are limited in space at home or in your car boot. And I feel my little one is super comfortable in the extended hood, the UV protection and airy feeling it offers my little one is ideal especially for the summer. Its hood was more effective than my existing Babyzen one so I was more inclined to use the ProFold. Would you recommend this to other mums? If, on the other hand, you spend your days going to parks, green spaces, and off-roading more than you do hopping on and off public transport, or if your local area has badly maintained pavements and/or you have the space for a bigger and more robust stroller, I would recommend something that can handle more diverse terrain,' adds Ben. 'And if your toddler hates getting in the buggy, you may find you need four hands to secure them in this one!' Quality, as you’d imagine is one of the most important considerations for buying any products. This is especially true for Prams and pushchairs.

Pushchairs

The first is brand. Looking at the brand of the product is often a really good indicator for judging product quality. For example you’d expect a much higher quality product from a brand known for providing excellent quality than you would from an unknown or even a budget brand. If you need a buggy that doesn’t monopolise space in the car boot and can be taken on holiday, the Micralite ProFold may fit the bill. Just before we get into the detail of analysing the price of this product, we want to briefly highlight the importance of setting yourself a budget before you spend too much time shopping around for a suitable product. It’s all too often that we get carried away when shopping and find ourselves buying a fantastic product, but probably actually overdelivers on what we need and therefore costs a lot more than we should have spent. So spend a bit of time looking around at the sort of price you can expect to pay for products in the Prams and pushchairs category and use that alongside your own financial situation to set yourself a budget.

Next up is the material. Take a look at what Micralite ProFold Pushchair is made from. Often you can spot the quality of the product based on the materials used to make it, with some obvious signs of a cheaper product with certain types of material. With some toys this will be more important than others. So you’ll already have a good idea of whether the material is actually a big deal or not when buying Prams and pushchairs.

Tandem Adaptors

You can’t adjust the handlebar so I feel like I’m walking too close to that brake. I don’t expect the handlebar to be adjustable on a compact stroller but it definitely needs to be longer. I’m only 5’3 and I find it too short so I’m guessing that someone who is 6ft would find it almost impossible. While the ProFold’s toggle glides smoothly and remains secure when the seat is upright, some users might prefer a different style of recline altogether. How easy is it to assemble? On the whole, our tester had no safety concerns about the ProFold, having covered at least 50 miles over the course of a week, off-road, along pavements and in and out of shops. The brand of product you buy can vary in importance, from person to person. Some people will of course be much more particular about the brands they will use. Whilst others aren’t interested in the brand and are more interested in the overall quality or price of the product itself. Thankfully is a brand that many customers have grown to love over the years and is very popular for items in the Prams and pushchairs category.

You’ll have to factor in either buying a travel system to start with (an approach many parents take) or using a baby carrier or sling for the first few months before making the transition. One of my biggest bug bears with lightweight strollers is that they usually have small, flimsy hoods. But thankfully, the Micralite ProFold has a great hood that is extendable, has UPF50+ protection, it’s breathable and has a peep window too. So it’s great for both shade and protection from wind, rain or cold weather. The next step was to try and narrow down our search even more. So we’ve already looked the prices of products in the Prams and pushchairs category. Then we’ve also looked at the prices of products from Micralite. So this step combines the two and looks specifically at the price you’d expect to pay for Micralite branded products in the Prams and pushchairs category. Initially, Adele was concerned that the ProFold wasn’t a very deep pushchair and seated her child in an unusually upright position but, by adjusting the recline strap and the thigh support, she was able to find a position that both she and her child were happy with. With that in mind, we wanted to really explore and analyse the price of Micralite ProFold Pushchair to see how cheap you can get it, but also see how it compares to other products. To do this we looked all the products available in the “Prams and pushchairs” category, as well as looking at the products available from the brand Micralite.

The only thing that I dislike about the product is, due to it being so lightweight and it folding so compact, it doesn’t feel as sturdy as other strollers. It feels a bit flexible/ wobbly when on uneven ground. But I can’t imagine you can have the convenience of this stroller without a small consequence. Silver winner: Best Lightweight Buggy or Stroller Mother&Baby awards 2020 If you choose a particularly lightweight pushchair, you run the risk of it being less robust than heavier models. So, we were eager to find out how sturdy the Micralite ProFold feels. It's one thing being able to fold it small enough to carry as hand luggage, but can it still do the job when it comes to pounding the pavement with a growing toddler on a daily basis? The shopping basket is sturdy and situated well away from the footrest so there’s no chance of a child accidentally stepping into it.
