Johnny Walker first began producing racing cars in 1965 with his prototype Walker Type 65, the following year the JW4 Mk2 his first production racing car was released to the market at the 1966 Olympia Racing Car Show. Dellow Motors Ltd was launched by Ken Delingpole and Ron Lowe to produce rugged road-going sports cars for enthusiasts to use on trials, rallies and hillclimbs. They won numerous events in the late 1940s and early 1950s, including the Daily Express National Rally and the Circuit of Ireland Rally against strong opposition. Notable works drivers included future Grand Prix driver Peter Collins and future multiple hillclimb champion Tony Marsh.

A really nice OMS CF04 carbon fibre tub single seater race car with Yamaha R1 (998cc) engine with factory kit ECU. The BT38 was the first monocoque production Brabham, and the designation applied to F2, Formula Atlantic and F3 versions. The owner of this stunning example has carried out and commissioned extensive research into its history. Starting out as an F3 car run by the Australian International Racing Organisation of Brian Mcguire and future world champion Alan Jones, it was subsequently used in Irish Formula Atlantic, re-tubbed and became a very successful hillclimb car in the Channel Islands. This 55F model dates from 1983 and received a full chassis and engine rebuild four years ago before being put in dry storage. Due to the high-speed nature of Hill Climbs you will need to buy some Motorsport UK-compliant safety gear such as a helmet, fireproof overalls, gloves and, for some classes, a Frontal Head Restraint device.
