With the Lian Li O11 Dynamic Mini we are reviewing today, Lian Li is looking into the opposite direction by offering a more compact version than the original. Lian Li has tried to make sure the process of reconfiguring the motherboard tray is as easy as possible, so all your motherboard standoffs on the motherboard tray are labeled 7, 5, or 3 to highlight which holes are for which configuration.

It is a cube style, steel chassis with brushed aluminum top and rear panels, and 4mm thick tempered glass front and side panels. At 38 liters of displacement, the O11D Mini isn’t exactly a small form factor build, but in comparison to a traditional pint of English lager, it is certainly not a large case either. You do have two colour choices, but I will say that the white finish on this enclosure doesn’t feel premium, it just feels like steel. Both of the tempered glass panels have nice steel reinforcement braces at the top and bottom, as well as some sound isolation foam along the sides. Manufactured from a combination of steel, aluminium, and tempered glass, it’s the perfect showcase for your small build PC.

The Lian Li O11 Dynamic Mini accommodates CPU coolers up to 170 mm in height meaning there are virtually no limits when choosing a powerful processor cooler. The most impressive thing about this case would be the size, form factor wise you are looking at something that is not taller than my Corsair ONE Mini-ITX tower. Speaking of dust filters, there is a removable fine dust filter at the bottom that is removed from the side. A case that would accommodate the maximum number of water-cooling configurations without being oversized. The drive storage itself is further divided into two compartments, the side mounting bar and drive caddy.

The O11D Snow Edition is compatible with either an SFX PSU or the slightly larger SFX-L power supply unit, depending on how much airflow you require. The power supply unit and the storage drives are housed in the right chamber of the O11 Dynamic Mini.Multiple tie points and Velcro strap channels are provided to tidy up the cables while the SSD mounting bar helps keep the loose cables all snuggled up to ensure a clean look and prevent the right-side panel from not closing or bulging. Accessing the case is identical to what we saw with the original, you remove the top panel and simply slide the glass panel upwards.
