This trip I took my daughter, Valerie, with me and wandered around the store and eventually found our way to eating a wonderful lunch there with their peach iced tea. Before we left, I bought plenty of fresh peaches to enjoy. Place the fruits, sugar, and water into a saucepan. Boil these ingredients over medium-high heat. Let everything boil before going down to low heat. Stir and simmer the mixture for 5 to 10 minutes. Make sure the sugar and fruits dissolve. The simple syrup is super easy to make and don’t throw out the peaches when you are done straining the syrup! Freeze them and use them later by heating them up and pouring over ice cream, pancakes, or waffles! Delicious! Mint: add a small handful of mint leaves to the pan. Add more or less to taste. You could experiment with other herbs too:

Transfer the syrup to an airtight container and store in the fridge until ready to use, or up to three days. Peach Iced Tea is my favorite new twist on classic iced tea. The flavor of peaches is a natural match for tea, and couldn’t be more seasonal. I imagine one can make honey-lemon iced tea in the same manner by making a simple honey and lemon infused syrup. Have you any more ideas, guys? Then, transfer the fruit, sugar, and water to a large, heavy-bottomed pan or skillet and heat over medium heat, bringing to a boil, stirring often until the sugar dissolves.Strainthe syrup from the fruit using a mesh sieve to remove any large pieces of peach. Set aside the peach simple syrup or store in the fridge until you’re ready to use. Now, along with using it for tea, this fragrant, sweet, homemade peach simple syrup is ready to mix into all sorts of drinks and drizzle over oatmeal, pancakes, French toast, and many other dishes. Best of all, this peach syrup recipe requires just 2 ingredients (plus water), and you don’t even need to peel the peaches. Cranberry Lemonade– Just mix together three easy ingredients and then garnish with lemon slices, mint, and cranberries! It is also best for you to sterilize the containers for better hygiene. To do this, turn the oven to 160° Celsius. If you use a standard 1,000 W kitchen microwave, set the power to P80. Be sure that the containers are microwave safe.

Combine the sugar, water, and diced peaches in a small saucepan set over medium heat. Bring the mixture to a boil and stir to break up the peaches. Pour just a tablespoon of the syrup for a lightly sweetened glass of tea or pour more for a delightfully sweet, peachy tea. After 30 minutes remove the saucepan from the heat and allow the whole mixture to cool in the saucepan for at least an hour before straining. Once cooled, strain through a sieve and store the syrup in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 month. Step 6 Homemade Raspberry Iced Tea– Made with only 4 ingredients for a refreshing sweet drink you’ll make all summer long!

Results will vary: depending on the variety of peach, fresh or frozen, etc., the syrup may vary in consistency, color, taste, and transparency. If you don’t plan on serving immediately, make the tea through step 2 and store it in the fridge. Then continue with step 3 when you’re ready to serve.
