This isn’t one of those books that's ‘pretty good for a guy who isn’t a real writer.’ It's very well executed: the characters are richly detailed, the dialogue is impressively realistic, and the plot is genuinely suspenseful…. Of course, there are a couple of twists - rather predictable twists, really, but still exciting and entertaining, nonetheless. I haven't read as much as I'd have liked to in the past couple weeks because I've been trying to concentrate on the LSAT, but I got through this one in about three sit-downs. So even if it wasn't phenomenal, obviously I highly enjoyed it.
