Description

The Drukhari box is also a perfect pairing with the rest of the combo-boxes and even itself. You could grab two or three of these and have a murder ball of wyches at your disposal. Just grab some transports and you’re off to the races! This is a good start for new players or anyone looking to try out what makes Drukhari unique. If you’re looking to grow an army from this box you’ve got all the options to choose after the fact. This is another box that you could get 2 or 3 of and have a very solid core Necron army.

Boarding Patrol: Adeptus Mechanicus

Writer, Editor, Texas Native, and Austinite for 15+ years, Adam covers all things Tabletop Gaming. Which includes Warhammer 40,000, Age of Sigmar, D&D, Board Games and everything else that involves dice, boards, cards and a table. Commander Farsight doesn’t just have a book dedicated to him – he’s also got an awesome new model, which is first available in Boarding Patrol: T’au Empire. This powerful assault force contains three Crisis battlesuits and 10 Fire Warriors, accompanied by a small shoal of Drones. It’s a firepower-first nightmare for enemy patrols, and even includes some close combat punch thanks to Farsight himself.* Arks of Omen: Farsight Enclaves Dice Set Few things are as terrifying in a confined space as a Phoenix Lord. Jain Zar leads Boarding Patrol: Aeldari accompanied by five Howling Banshees, as well as 20 Corsair Voidscarred who can be assembled as any one of two different units. Boarding Patrol: Drukhari Commander Shadowsun has bested near every foe that dared to stand against her, but the Death Guard present an altogether new challenge in Phil Kelly’s Shadowsun: The Patient Hunter . With ancient warriors and corpulent daemons confounding her understanding of reality, O’Shaserra will need to test her understanding of Kauyon and stretch her abilities to the limit to prevent an all-out schism between her forces and her allies. Gaunt’s Ghosts: The Victory Part Two (French Edition)This is a great generic box. There’s no special characters and all the units inside are scary in close combat. That makes this a fast and deadly force in Boarding Action games. You aren’t going to be generating a lot of long range death here, but that’s okay! You’ll mop-up in close. For Boarding Action games you don’t have a ton of numbers so each loss is going to sting but that also means each model is a threat on its own. With proper positioning and smart movement you can hit your enemy at range to soften them up and then finish them off up close. Funnel them as best you can — the Grey Knights are no joke! This box has the new Snikrot model in it so it’s already a winner in our opinion. That said, it’s a very “meat-and-potatoes” Ork box with loads of bodies to flood the field in a Boarding Action game. The Flash Gitz can provide some nice firepower to sweep-up some of those corridors while the rest of the boyz move in for the kill. Although they’re a Heavy Support choice, Orks can take a unit thanks to their special Mustering Rules . Your other boyz will appreciate the fact that the enemy is shooting at something else for a turn or two** and long-range Lootas and Mek Gunz can take a moment to find a perfect position to unleash the dakka. You will need some fighty lads to help out the embattled Kommandos eventually – the Stormboyz can drop right in where they’re needed.

Boarding Patrol : Orks - Warhammer 40,000 - Oupi

Jain Zar leading a relatively elite band of warriors is a scary proposition. This box is a good start for a new Aeldari force and it’s also a good one for Boarding Action games. The tight corridors will benefit the faster moving elements who want to get into close combat while the firepower from the Voidscarred can be surprising. In the enforced absence of Lord Helmawr, his heirs have started to disappear at an alarming rate. These mysterious deaths stopped at Lady Haera, his 13th trueborn daughter, which we’re sure is a complete coincidence with which she had nothing to do.In a moment of sheer Orky genius, the Boss has bartered for the aid of some mercenary Flyboyz piloting Deffkoptas and Dakkajets . It’s a lesson he learned in the jungles of Armageddon – if the ‘umies are too busy looking up for the koptas, they’ll never notice the Orks stabbin’ ‘em from the front . Taktiks! Points-wise, this box is kind of all over the place because you’ve got quite a few options. If you’re already playing T’au this seems like a Swiss Army Knife of options plus you’ve got the new Farsight model. For new ork players this is once again a good place to start. The one warning is that if you want to go with a more vehicle centric build this might not fit that. But if you want to load-up on Boyz and get in there then this is a fine box for that. But you probably just want to get one because it’s got the unique character in it. Sneak into the Arks of Omen and cause some big green havoc with Boss Snikrot and his boyz. Boarding Patrol: Orks is a musclebound collection of tough-as-nails fighters led by the legendary Kommando Boss sporting a brand new model. In addition to Snikrot, you’ll board with five Flash Gitz, 10 Beast Snagga Boyz, and 10 Kommandos – who also drag along a reluctant Kommando Grot and far-too-enthusiastic Bomb Squig for the ride.* Boarding Patrol: Aeldari On a full-size battlefield, Snikrot can bring more of his buddies along for a sneaky stab-a-thon. Is a Blood Axe army even a Blood Axe army if it’s not maximising its Kommandos?

Ork an Oxymoron – Call Him Boss Don’t Call This Stealthy Ork an Oxymoron – Call Him Boss

Far from being a preening noble hiding up in the Spire, Lady Haera loves nothing more than getting her hands dirty with a masterwork power spear and a phase sword. She’s a terror to face – so make sure she’s on your side when she arrives on Saturday. Vashtorr the Arkifane’s quest for the Key-fragments is nearing its end, and the action turns to the dead world of Arthas Moloch in the fourth chapter in the epic narrative series, Arks of Omen: Farsight . Commander Farsight is just preparing to wrap up the vicious War of Dakka once and for all, when calamity strikes and his entire operation is jeopardised by the arrival of the Unhallowed space hulk and its Balefleet entourage. The Drukhari already love to raid voidcraft for business and pleasure, and the Arks of Omen have only spilled blood in the water. A Succubus leads 20 Wyches in Boarding Patrol: Drukhari, accompanied by a band of five sinister Incubi. Boarding Patrol: Grey Knights Because this box does have Castellan Crowe you probably just want one copy. Still, if you’re looking to start this is a great box as you’ll get the ability to build in many different directions. Just plan your list out all the way before you commit to a particular Grey Knight unit type.

As well as advancing the narrative of Warhammer 40,000, this book includes significant expansions for the Boarding Actions game mode. Not only do Dark Depths missions allow you to mix up your battlefields, the book also introduces multiplayer games for three or four players – be they two-on-two team matches or exciting free-for-alls. When the battlefields of the 41st Millennium require Kunnin the Orks' Boys get the job dun, deploying smaller, highly specialised forces who are adept at close quarters combat to secure vital assets and battlefield location. Boarding Patrol Orks introduces the legendary Kommando Boss Snikrot and his capable formation of Kunnin (with a healthy dash of Brutal) boyz that are perfectly suited to forming parties for the Boarding Actions Warhammer 40,000 game format. Talk about squad options! Once again, this box has them. Crowe is pretty effective in close combat… but so is this entire fighting force. Everyone can move, shoot, and melee well. They are Grey Knights after-all. First, let’s have a closer look at that Boarding Patrol. Though the Red Skull Kommandos are his go-to cronies, any Ork who can hold their tongue for more than 10 seconds can find a place on a secret Snikrot mission. This is a show you won’t want to miss – and with reveals this exciting, you’ll have no trouble staying up. In fact, we need some time to recover ourselves, so unfortunately there’ll be no Hang Out and Paint this week. The show will return next week!
