despite me hating this song with every fibre of my being, i’m not all that bothered. it’s just a chart at the end of the day. Personally, I really liked Montero, a breeze of fresh air in the pop/rap genres. Tbh I didn't expect to like a Lil Nas X project but his album is really good. There aren't a lot of fillers, the production is insane (Dead Right Now, Industry Baby, Life After Salem...) and the lyrics are really good, sometimes very emotional and personal (One of Me, Am I Dreaming, Sun Goes Down...). The featurings are hit or miss, the songs with Doja and Meghan are kinda underwhelming, but the ones with Miley and Elton are great.
