I could mention, at this point, that almost all the women in this story are depicted as utter and total harpies (why don’t they get eaten already?) or that the baddie is as cheesy as they come (something that another reviewer has already gotten off their chest) or that the scares are rudimentary at best. I could, but I probably won’t (eh?), because this book has least one thing going for it… it reads superfast (if you put your mind to it you can finish it in one sitting).
