Of course, it can be hard to know exactly what to look for when buying one of these nifty gadgets. After all, you want to make sure you’re getting the best fence sprayer possible, to make the job as painless as it can be. In practical terms, the fact that it doesn’t really spray out in blasts the way other fence sprayers do means it’s not the very fastest fence sprayer out there, but it’s still pretty speedy compared to standard manual painting, plus it also means you get much less excess spray and hence waste less material.

Wagners most powerful DIY Sprayers offer a consistent, smooth finish on a wide range of exterior and interior painting projects. Now lighter weight for High Volume Low Pressure (HVLP) spraying! I have to say it was very surprising and enjoyable to clean up – being all water based (except the Creocote which I’ve decided is much better applied with a standard manual garden sprayer. For the most part, if you don’t let the paint dry you’ll simply disassemble the unit and turn on the hot tap. A couple of minutes and you’ll be good to go next time – don’t get lazy on this or you’ll have a real job on your hands if you ever want to use that sprayer pot again: I wouldn’t water down that much – the more you water down the more layers you’ll need. I’d start with a maximum of 4:1 and see if you can push that through first! This is of course on the basis you’re using the Wagner fence sprayer specifically. I’d give different advice if you meant the Wagner 100. the spray and brush is easy to dismantle and is suitable for cuprinol one coat sprayable ?uid and garden shades

Designed for woodworking enthusiasts. Perfect tool to achieve that ultra-fine, professional finish on cabinets, furniture, trim, heirlooms and other woodworking projects. You can complete a variety of projects with a range of materials including urethanes, varnishes, oils, stains, sealers, enamels, glazes, water-based lacquer, thinned latex and more. Whilst there are some people who enjoy the task of painting with a brush, there’s no denying that it’s a long and time-consuming process. Sometimes this is fine, and a bit of leisurely painting is welcome; however, for those moments when you want to cut a 5-day task into a 1-morning situation, the VonHaus 400W Fence Sprayer is one of the best paint sprayers to have on hand to really speed through painting jobs. Painting large areas used to take days with the painstaking method of applying product with a brush. Fortunately, nowadays, the amount of time it takes to do even big jobs – like paint all the fences or decorate a room in the house – can be reduced by up to two thirds. The Ginour Fence Paint Sprayer makes it easy to spray bigger areas thanks to its large coverage and wide spray. Our one real gripe about this fence sprayer is that even though it comes with a viscosity measuring cup, we were unable to find any firm guidelines about maximum viscosity.

Touted as a suitable machine for both DIY and professional painting jobs, this paint sprayer can be used both indoors and out. As a result, we’re looking at a handy machine that will have far more uses than simply painting the fences every couple of years. Wagner does actually produce a designated fence sprayer but this is more expensive and probably more than is necessary for the average home user who just wants a convenient way to treat their fence every once in a while. With regards to the electric fence sprayers, the Wagner provides the most flexibility in use and the best finish whereas the Work Expert is very definitely a fence sprayer and only a fence sprayer, but if you have lots of fences to spray then it could save you a lot of work. This option from Terratek appears to have been designed for flexibility, which is presumably why it has a carry strap (which makes it more comfortable to use for longer periods) and a decently long lead (1.5M).I know from the past where I’ve had a beer, I can often completely forget what I should be maintaining 😀 But an electric fence sprayer is seriously unforgiving if you don’t clean it up straight away! Overspray and masking up In terms of the spray, it comes from a brass nozzle (as opposed to plastic) which creates even coverage and won’t damage easily through cleaning. The spray settings are adjustable by twisting the casing around the nozzle, which creates variation between a wider and narrower spray. It has a fully adjustable paint flow as well that can also be increased or decreased by twisting a separate nozzle. This is something to keep an eye out for, as some fence sprayers won’t be able to be used with solvent paints. We especially like the fact that the spray gun is set forward of the container lid, which makes it particularly easy to fill. We also appreciate the 2-meter power cable for flexibility in use and the fact that this paint sprayer is very good at managing heat emission, which should help to extend the life of the motor. And also that video reminded me of another good thing about this unit. With the motor being separate from the paint pot, there’s no weight pulling down as you tighten up and re-attach the pot to the sprayer, as a result, it doesn’t mis-thread which was a common problem on the other units I tested.

When it comes to capacity, the large 1400 ml paint container is one of the biggest featured here. As with all of these sprayers, it goes through paint at quite a rate, but this reservoir holds enough for approximately 1.5 fence panels, which is about as much as can be hoped for from these machines. Although the Wagner W100 is a whole lot faster than using a manual paintbrush or roller, the reason its fans love it is not for its speed but for the quality of its finish. It has extra-fine atomisation for the smoothest coverage and the flow can be adjusted for those precise jobs. As well as being suitable for both solvent- and water-based fence paint, this sprayer can also be used to spray alcohol and other liquid disinfectants. It creates a fine mist which makes it suitable for spraying both light and heavier coverings of all the aforementioned liquids. Not only can you have 2 coats done in a whole lot less time than it would take you to do one using a brush or a roller but it’s so much easier to deal with rough surfaces and hard-to-reach places, plus you can get the sort of finish which makes you look like a pro.

Another feature to look out for are fence sprayers with an adjustable flow rate. This is useful for two reasons. One, you can adjust the flow depending on the viscosity of the paint; and two, you can change the flow to get exactly the coverage you’re looking for. Choosing between the vertical, horizontal and circular spray patterns helps adapt this high quality paint sprayer between different jobs, and it doesn’t take long to switch between settings if the task requires several different sprays. Multiple nozzles are included, with diameters of 1.0 mm, 1.8 mm, 2.6 mm and 3.0 mm. These alter the flow and help accommodate different paint viscosities. Don’t take the smaller than Wagner the wrong way either. It’s easy to setup and well designed. This is probably a benefit to someone looking for as lightweight electric fence sprayer as possible but with a decent price point and performance. This thing will still sort out a long fence in a couple of hours and weighs less making it my second choice for best electric fence sprayer.

TIME SAVING: The Terratek paint sprayer paints a wall 8 times faster than a brush, saving time and effort. Big surface projects like walls, ceilings, exterior siding and fences get a consistent finish with any coating. With improved pattern design and spray control, painting can be done indoors or outdoors with less mess and clean-up time. SPRAY PATTERNS: Lightweight yet powerful, this handy tool sets up in just minutes. It features a viscosity cup that lets you measure the density of the material you're using and adjust the spray pattern as needed. The spray nozzle requires only a simple turning of the ears on the air cap to allow for a round, horizontal, or vertical pattern, depending on your application. For example, all of the fence sprayers in this list are suitable for use with a wide range of paints and stains, including solvent-based and water-based paints. Having control over application coverage whilst using paint sprayers is a must; it can be the difference between only being able to do large-scale jobs, and having the flexibility to use the fence sprayer for smaller tasks too. The Haupon TM-71 Fence Sprayer comes with several attachments and settings that make it ideal for a range of situations; not only is it efficient at spraying fence panels, it can also be used to paint cupboards, doors, and other more precise items. In terms of reservoir capacity, this machine actually has one of the largest featured here at 1400 ml. Yet, compared to other units with a similar tank size, it’s not as heavy to use for extended periods due to the separate sprayer/motor design. The motor can be positioned on the floor whilst the sprayer is used (as long as the job isn’t too high) or held in the other hand.
