If battery and bass are up there on your list of priorities, you won’t regret making these Sennheisers yours. The highs on the SPORT are pretty standard sounding and they don’t provide too much detail. However, they also don’t detract from the sound in any way. I rarely heard them distort or become harsh, and sometimes heard some surprisingly nice reverb tails and spatial details. Like everything else, the SPORT sculpts the highs to emphasize more essential ranges for the core sound, which is important. The SPORT True Wireless doesn't just stand up to the physical challenges. With a battery life of 9 hours, and another 18 hours with the charging case, it offers uncompromising performance to go the distance.

Sennheiser SPORT True Wireless review – Let the sound in | T3

We wouldn’t classify the CX Sports as a Sennheiser personal best, but they’re still a solid and appealing pair of Bluetooth headphones. They’re good all-rounders and we’d certainly consider slipping a pair into our gym bag. The tonal balance is smooth and full-bodied, while they're sure-footed rhythmically. If your system demands premium headphones and you can stretch to the HD 820 you won’t be disappointed. They’re comfortable and engineered to last. Google’s Pixel Watch 2 has big shoes to fill after it’s grand debut into the smartwatch market a years ago. Does the follow-up deliver?I used the biggest of all of them, of course, as I have ears as big as Dumbo, but I was surprised that I could find a fit that works as I often struggle with buds falling out of my left ear. The wing tips – sorry, ear fins – press the buds into the ears perfectly, leaving very little room for the sound to escape. This is important as the SPORT True Wireless hasn't got active noise cancellation (ANC), but even if it did, ill-fitting buds would compromise it. Sennheiser Sport True Wireless connects to your phone, computer or audio device via Bluetooth and has a 10-metre range. I tested these out by wearing the buds and walking away from my phone and there was no breakup or dropouts. The Jabra Elite 7 Active buds are a significant update over the Jabra Elite Active 75t and offer more personalised sound and ANC, better fit via the ShakeGrip coating and even improved call performance thanks to the three-microphone-per-bud setup. If you aren't too keen on wing tips, the Elite 7 Active are your best option for running headphones. Even with the array of wings provided I was a little sceptical that the Sport True Wireless buds would stay in place during exercise given their size and heft. However, those fears were misplaced. They have a very reliable fit once you find the right wing for your ears, and I didn’t experience any looseness during several runs, a couple of cycles, a strength workout and a yoga session.

Supplied with both Open and Closed earbud adapters, the Sport True Wireless earphones let you choose how much of the outside world to let in. Generally, it’s recommended to use the Closed buds at the gym and the Open buds when out for a run, keeping you more aware of surrounding traffic. It's all positive and we haven't even touched on the sound quality, which is extremely refined and sophisticated for the money. Highs and lows are composed and controlled but dynamics aren't sacrificed. The Sennheisers present a detailed soundstage with impressive scale and authority. They're a little pricier than other wireless in-ear headphones, but if your budget can stretch, your ears will be rewarded. With their latest iteration of in-ear headphones, the SPORT True Wireless, you get exactly what you expect - a true wireless set of earbuds designed with athletes and fitness enthusiasts in mind, with the unique look, feel, and sound that Sennheiser delivers so consistently.
