PRO TIP - WASH HAIR TO REMOVE STYLING GEL: When first unboxing doll, wash her hair thoroughly to remove styling gel and let hair dry completely. Then, her hair is ready to brush. Starting out, she and Lyric were shown to be often arguing and disagreeing, having very different ideas and goals. With the help of Sunny and her friends however, they became more united, and happily agreed on things for their music video. Her personality seems to be chic, cool and passionate about her career but, is very opposing. This is shown when she always disagrees with Lyric's ideas in certain episodes. Before the new episode and music vid came out, I thought that all of the characters in the line were equals. But after watching the new releases, I soon noticed that it was more focused on Lyric. Carmen and Vanessa hardly had any screen time compared to Lyric. Two POCs were put to the side, while a white person took all the spotlight. It's quite common to see this kind of trope in movies/tv shows. The main white girl with a POC as the side best friend.

POSE HER ON DOLL STAND: She's fully articulated and posable, her arms and legs bend for so many glamourous poses or you can display her on the included doll stand. Victoria Whitman • Priscilla Perez • Michelle St. Charles • Olivia Woods • Kim Nguyen • Aidan Russell MIX & MATCH OUTFITS: Carmen comes with 2 complete doll outfits with doll clothes, doll shoes and music doll accessories. Dress her in each look, then mix & match the trendsetting fashions and musical accessories to spark imagination and storytelling fun.The first Playsets were released in early August, 2020 with the introduction of the Fashion Studio, Hair Studio, and Hair Salon. The Fashion Studio and Hair Studio sets came with dolls (Avery Styles and Amaya Raine, respectively), while the Hair Salon was the first playset to not include a doll. Carmen is a teenage girl with a medium build and tan skin. She has hip-length, curled hair which is mostly bright neon pink with rainbow highlights with baby hairs and 2 space buns. She has pistachio green eyes. Her makeup consists of an ombre color of orange to pink to purple eyeshadow. Her lips is are a glossy nude red. Oh I've been wondering what you would think of these dolls ever since they came out! I think you chose a really nice one; I think Georgia's design and colour scheme is really pretty.

While not much is known, they are bandmates. Lyric and Carmen tend to have the most creative conflicts, with Vanessa acting as mediator.I‘m really looking forward to your review of Vanessa cause she is on top of my wishlist, together with the golden and the pink girl of the slumber party line. I really hope to get them some day, but I‘ve heard it‘s really to find the golden girl (I just love the combination of the tanned skin, the brown eyes and the golden hair) even in the USA. While Carmen was often shown conflicting with Lyric, her and Vanessa did not have much direct interaction, other than simply being band mates.

While not much is known, they are bandmates. Carmen and Lyric tend to have the most creative conflicts, with Vanessa acting as mediator. Similar to its sister brand LOL Surprise, Rainbow High's dolls and accessories are manufactured in China. In a few months, Rainbow High shot up in popularity, being enjoyed by both a younger and older demographic of doll collectors. It especially sparked the interest of people who had previously grew up with fashion dolls such as Monster High, Ever After High, and MGA Entertainment's own brand, Bratzillaz, three doll lines that also have a high school element. Price point: Big brand toys are manufactured with the knowledge there has to be something available for every wallet. Price points are set store prices (with a small range each) which serve as a guiding point for the manufacturer in deciding how to finance the design a particular new toy. Lower price points correspond to "budget" toys and, high price points to "deluxe" toys, but are more specific as to how budget or deluxe a certain toy is.Rainbow High so far only has two body types, which are female and male. The female dolls all share the same body molds. All dolls so far are 24 cm, making them the same height as shorter Monster High dolls. The bodies are made of high quality, hard plastic and the doll's hair is made out of nylon. The dolls are fully articulated, female ones has 11 points of articulation: at the head, arms, elbows, wrists, hips, and knees. The boys have 13 points, with all of the female points of articulation plus articulation at the ankles. Finishing the Rainbow High collection are the Rainbow Divas Fashion Dolls: Sabrina St. Cloud, Meline Luxe, and Ayesha Sterling, who are determined to win Rainbow Vision! The new song released by 'Rainbow Dream' had catchy lyrics, but it honestly just made me realize the structure that the rainbow high series has : covert racism. "Covert racism is a form of racial discrimination that is disguised and subtle, rather than public or obvious. Concealed in the fabric of society, covert racism discriminates against individuals through often evasive or seemingly passive methods." (wikipedia.com) Now you might be wondering what I'm talking about, how does this even relate to a web series? Well, I will be answering that question. Cheerleader Squad, Winter Break, and Rainbow Junior High Series 1 consists of Series 1 characters with the exception of Avery Styles and Amaya Raine.

Rainbow High™ is a modern fashion doll brand that sparks imagination and encourages creativity. With Grit, Love, Action and Moxie (G.L.A.M), the students of Rainbow High combine their unique creative skills and work together to achieve their unlimited dreams today. #COLLECTTHERAINBOW The 6 original Rainbow High™ Fashion Dolls get a Winter makeover so they can fashionably hit the slopes with their friends. Sculpt: The design of any separate component of the doll as it is without paint, hair, and accessories. Variant: Sometimes, a doll or its accessories are manufactured one way for a while and then there's a change made in the process, resulting in two (or more) versions of a specific doll. These versions are called variants and the one initially produced tends to be the rarer one.

Shelfwarming: When a particular item's availability far exceeds the demand (at the time) and it stays on shelves for much longer than it should, it's a shelfwarmer. You’ll find Mila Berrymore, Meena Fleur, Delilah Fields, Jewel Richie, Coco Vanderbalt, and Lila Yamamoto in the Rainbow High Series 4. Each doll has different features and skin tones, unique eye shapes, and fashion choices that represent the difference we see daily. These fabulous fashionistas are 11-inch dolls and the perfect playset for four years old and up. Each has a color of the rainbow to match their fashion style, and they let their true colors shine! When the RH line first came out I was wondering how you'd react to this one. They feel a bit like MGA'S new, slightly more kiddie friendly "Bratz", with their stylized expressions, focus on fashion, and very trendy outfits. So glad you've returned to assess these with your unique perspective. Finding out about all of the clothing defects was quite a surprise, as no other review I've come across seemed to mention it. Hopefully that was just a one time fluke, although there has been talk on social media about how the company may have been rushing a bit due to all of the crammed releases. Karla Choupette • Zooey Electra • Dia Mante • Monique Verbena • Reina "Glitch" Crowne • Rexx McQueen So, this is where I join the conversation, since I own all but one of the currently released Rainbow High dolls.
