When you work alongside hordes of other people, you accept the odd transgression. If somebody is coughing all day, you put your headphones in. If there’s noise coming from a nearby meeting room, you move to a different area. And if somebody pinches your parking space, you just find another. Office workers and uni students are notorious for taking each other’s milk and food. People find it difficult to resist pinching a tasty biscuit or helping themselves to fruit. In extreme cases, they can gobble entire lunches. Employees will do the most terrible things when they think no one is looking. A liquid retaining lip is included at the foot of the door to ensure that any liquids that are spilt inside the container do no leak out.

Shared fridges are a total nightmare. The door provides a screen to the outside world, behind which people can do what they want. And frequently, they do.

But there’s one thing that you’re not prepared to accept: people helping themselves to your milk. I mean who the do they think they are?
