Not being waterproof also means better for hot regions and environments and is undoubtedly a bad idea for a rainy day. So, you might want to take a good look at the water forecast before choosing this option for full-up daily wear. If your day is filled with a lot of running, walking, or feet movement, you need shoes fit for the purpose. Here’s a minimalist, outdoor-friendly, durable, and functional VIVOBAREFOOT model. Across the board, the VIVOBAREFOOT Geo Racer II brings in another model with ultralight and versatile designs. It is highly rated thanks to its exceptional pros that set it apart from regular men’s shoes. Vivobarefoot’s flat and flexible shoes are good to my feet, and with the release of the new Geo Court they’re good for my style too. The Vivobarefoot Geo Court is the PERFECT leather sneaker. They’re that exact blend of sporty and simple that makes it possible to pair them with everything, but without compromising on foot health. Below are a few of the most commonly asked questions that I’ve received about this model. As always, if you have additional questions, feel free to ask away. 1. Does the Vivobarefoot Geo Racer Knit have a removable insole?

Whatever the gap in the market, or the gap in our offering – our starting point is always the urgent need to get sustainable footwear out-there. At Vivo we frame it as regenerative footwear. With the Geo Racer Knit we wanted to blow the doors off our own standards - our sustainability matrix – make the Knit 100% recyclable. This way, I feel VIVOBAREFOOT has taken an enormous step to help us all individually, collectively, and our most loved planet to get the most out of their shoes. Cons of the Geo Racer II VIVOBAREFOOT Men’s Shoes I like the new branding they’ve been using on the tongue of their shoes, and can even get behind the V on the sides. I think they’re going for an Adidas or Nike style where the brand symbol becomes a fashion statement in itself. It’s subtle enough that it doesn’t interfere with the versatility of the shoe, and I like it. Wouldn’t it be cool if a barefoot brand got so big it’s symbol was recognizable to the masses?

These barefoot shoes are certainly more than a walk in the park. Here’s a great way to be a part of saving the planet, one step at a time, literally . What Are the VIVOBAREFOOT Men’s Shoes Best for? Not at all. It’s not an, ‘either-or’– you know, sure it’s got the looks that make it perfect for getting up to mischief round the neighbourhood. But it’s technical, performance footwear – don’t be in any doubt about that. Cross-fit, lifting – those disciplines demand balance and the role the foot plays is fundamental. Or you might get acrobatic like the athletes we met doing calisthenics. When you blend the look, the flexibility and feel – how that improves balance and strength – it’s just a very elegant solution that sits across lifestyle and active. Whether it is a day at the gym, a timeout, workout, early morning run, or just as daily wear, the Vivobarefoot shoes are a perfect fit that sits lightly and comfortably. From heavy lifting to gain muscle , to training sessions, its comfortable material is not just lightweight but also of a stretch nature, allowing it to fit and blend into your different activities. The VIVOBAREFOOT men’s shoe models have a thin sole design that allows your feet to connect smoothly with the ground during your running and recreational activities. The Geo Racer II also comes in a sole light structure that is sturdy and durable to get you past your vigorous activities. For the Vivobarefoot Geo Racer Knit’s performance, I’m breaking the below into a few different sections to discuss how this barefoot shoe performs in a variety of settings.

Sole: I do not think this sole feels as flexible as my Gobi IIs, despite being marketed as the same soles, but in a specific way. These feels like they are slapping the ground vs flexing with my foot as I run. This is definitely a road running shoe, as there are no lugs to help with traction off-road. I’d also argue these are only good in dry/fair weather. I had little to no traction when I used them on days it rained or if I stepped in a puddle from snow.

Expert Reviews

Quality: High quality, they’ll last a while. No surprises here. My second vivobarefoot shoe and the quality is consistent so far. I’d also say they are my best looking shoes. These shoes look like any other running shoe you’d find from a major shoe brand. The shoe uppers are made of leather, which makes them so easy to keep bright and clean. Most of the time all you need to do is wipe them down and if they get scuffed you can use a rubber to erase marks. The interior is partially lined with leather and partially fabric. VIVOBAREFOOT Geo Racer II shoes are perfectly designed for your running activities. They are lightweight, durable, comfortable, and breathable, making them perfect both as gym shoes and daily wear.
