The Library’s network of Business and Intellectual Property Centres (BIPCs), based in libraries across the country, provides entrepreneurs and small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) across the UK with free access to databases, market research, journals, directories and reports. This year the Library achieved its ambition to grow the Network to 20 Centres in public libraries outside of London, opening in Southampton and Carlisle in November, alongside 80 ‘BIPC Locals’ (smaller hubs providing further local reach and access across their localities).
