First, make things easier on yourself and use the LightGrip cutting mat for almost all paper materials. Cricut Explore machines use the Cricut Scoring Stylus, which you can buy as part of the Basic Tool Set. The Cricut Maker machines can use the Scoring Stylus or Cricut Scoring Wheel tools – both the single and double Scoring Wheels.
