Wife says I have too many fragrances so once I have gone through a few, this will be added to the collection quickly. Not as prominent as the signature cherry in the Guerlain L'Homme Ideal line but definitely the same general direction.

Of the core Code line, the Parfum performs the best, and puts the profile into a nicely sophisticated space that I prefer. Armani Code Eau de Parfum with a strong iris note and toned down tonka bean is an apt description for this fragrance. It was much more fresh off the top and although I can smell the old DNA it lacked the warmth and originality of the og dry down. I didn’t look at the notes and picked up the iris, tonka and slight woodiness stood out the most with a subtle aromatic undertone.It will not scream nor ask against one’s will from a stranger you must notice me and recognize my presence as a few in the line will, especially Code Eau De Parfum. The EDP is darker and stronger if projection is your thing, still good but this is the only Code I can wear in Florida during the day, work, evening and have a solid, fresh, not overly sweet and the Iris is done right, reminds me of a lighter and less sweet and spicy version of Givenchy Boisee. The original was spikier with the sharp edges, the Parfum has modernized and smoothed out that spikiness by substituting in the iris. UPDATE : I tested this again and my first impression was a little off but I guess I've more of a developed nose I would say despite the fact I'd use SWY in similar scenarios but Profumo is much louder attention grabbing fragrance.

I used to smell this on a guy at work who was a walking advertisement for what an Armani model should look like. When i wear it dont give a f*ck if anybody smells it on me or not, all that matters is i enjoy it from the first spray untill ut completely wears off. I like the apple in it and the sweetnes it gives, but i dont wear it everytime, as in winter i prefer heavier scents not sweeter ones. However, always funny to read the reviews about certain fragrances and their performance according to some people.

I LOVE Le male le Parfum, but to me this is just more versatile and more formal; you can wear this fragrance at work, Le Male, not so much. What other fragrance is able to take a original groundbreaking scent and be able to incorporate freshness of the top and iris into a parfum concentration!
