He offers two useful features. The first is a dual purpose hairo-brush which is fantastic for scrubbing off stubborn pet hairs and other stains, the second is a carbon filter designed to combat unpleasant smells. The MicroFresh filter activated charcoal filter will minimise the bad smells your pets can create. In this day and age, there is a vast range of hard floor surfaces: quarry tiles, PVC tiles, linoleum and now a vast range of laminate surfaces all of which need a fast and friendly means of maintenance.

Henry is the model that started it all – although he’s had a number of upgrades over the years. With a charming exterior and simple design, you could be forgiven for thinking it can’t compete with more expensive models. As we found in our Henry Hoover review, however, this is far from the case. Have Questions about Henry, Hetty, Charles, George – or any other vacuums? We may already have the answer… What’s the best Henry for my small home or outhouse? The cherry on top is that it is an energy class A. Plus the Airobrush and the extra attachment for hard floors.Henry is the stalwart of this range: tough, durable and easy to use. There may be lighter and sleeker models available, but it is by no means too cumbersome and its impressive storage capacity, means you’ll have plenty of time before you need to change the bags. When you buy one of these machines you are buying a product that will stand the test of time. It won’t let you down. It will continue to run even when you can no longer do so. That’s a special thing in a brand. FAQ’s about the Henry Vacuum Range Only one of the included attachments is designed for cleaning up hair. The rest are normal Henry attachments. Only one of the included attachments is designed for cleaning up hair. The rest are normal Henry attachments. It’s not nearly as heavy as you would think for all those extras. It isn’t expensive, it doesn’t make much noise. The Henry range have tremendous amounts of colour to them – but only one (very distinctive) style. If it has that big happy face, if the nose is the vacuum hose, and if it perpetually, moronically, and frustratingly never stops grinning? It’s a Henry.

Detailed below are what you should look for – or what you should ask yourself – before you buy your Henry vacuum cleaner. Dust Bin Capacity When shopping for a small home you have less mess – but less storage space. For this we suggest the Henry Micro, which will do a great job while fitting snugly into small spaces. What’s a Numatic Henry?

Car Cleaning

If there’s one thing you expect from a Henry, it’s the cute face painted on the front of the iconic red body. It was a cute touch when Henry first launched, and it remains an enduring symbol that gives the vacuum cleaner a personality and life. It’s easy to love this vacuum cleaner. While the traditional Henry has an A class energy efficiency rating, other models don’t match it. The worst is actually the Harry, which has a C class energy efficiency rating. It is important because a higher consumption vacuum cleaner will use more, costing you more in power. They aren’t as environmentally friendly either, so if being E-friendly is important to you the basic Henry is the better model. Size & Shape I have to admit that it wasn’t immediately obvious to me what use this brush had, as it seemed as though the existing attachments had pretty much covered all of my vacuuming jobs. However, when I read in the manual that it was for delicate items in the home, I set about wandering around looking for areas that require vacuuming, which could be damaged using one of the more heavy-duty attachments. The Hetty is not as bulky as you think (or at least as I thought prior to purchasing one). In fact, I found it easy to store in a number of different places in my home, which was something I was concerned about because we are very limited on space. Once the wand was removed, I was able to slot it into a wardrobe, under the stairs, and on top of a washing machine.

Suction is reflected in two ways with the Henry vacuum cleaner range. It is either a result of the maximum energy outage that the model in question has, or it is marked as a class rating. For example, the class rating of the Harry pet hair removing Henry is a Class C. If you want maximum suction, you have to go for bigger numbers. So where the Harry is a 620 w, the basic Henry has the option to go up to 1200 w. This will have more suction power. However, this is not a high-end machine, and it does require a little elbow grease to get good results. The attachments really are well designed, and as long as you are able to swap between them as you move around your home, you’ll be very pleased with the results. Speaking of the upholstery brush, this is the attachment that is best suited for cleaning chairs, sofas, car seats, and stairs. Basically, anything that has a pretty flat surface that is too small to use the main floor tool should be vacuumed using the upholstery brush. I found it really effective on the stairs, as the bristles are great at agitating the dust and dirt whilst also reaching the very corner of the steps. Upholstery Brush Before and After This is definitely my favourite attachment for the Hetty because it the perfect tool for vacuuming the dirt and dust that accumulates in those really hard-to-reach spots, such as down the side of your sofa or armchair, the gap between the seats and the door in the car, and most importantly, the strip of carpet right next to the skirting boards where the regular floor head can’t quite reach.

A Quick Overview

The battery life ranges from 14 minutes in high power with the brush on, to 70 minutes in low power with the brush off, which is about the best you can expect from a cordless vacuum of this size. The vacuum comes with 26 pods, which is sufficient to last roughly a year, and they’re made from 60% recycled material. Numatic also says it has put carbon offsetting measures in place to ensure its pods are climate-positive, reducing its carbon impact globally. However, the dirt-filled pods will go in your normal household waste and, ultimately, to landfill – so there is a moral conundrum of convenience versus clear eco-conscience to consider. Carbon offsetting is admirable, but not creating pollution in the first place is better.
