We are seeking to employ remote and online counsellors to work with children and young people. Successful candidates will form part of a dedicated and professional team. Sessions will be delivered by video, telephone and online text according to client preference.

Developed by TIC+, the group is designed to inform and support parents and carers, helping them to understand their child’s distress and discover effective strategies to improve their resilience. The group is also an opportunity for parents and carers going through similar experiences to encourage, support and learn from each other in a safe and friendly environment. We would be willing to discuss hybrid arrangements e.g. face to face counselling in an area above plus some remote hours each week.

The notes, records and information belong to TIC+. The information encrypted is (coded to ensure your data is protected) and stored securely on our servers in the UK. We keep this information for at least seven years or until you reach the age of 18 – whichever is longer. Your information is only accessible to authorised members of the TIC+ team and if relevant the organisation you are being referred to. Nobody outside of TIC+ will be able to read information about you without your consent unless we are worried about you or another person (see is tic+chat confidential?). TIC+ is a mental health charity offering support to children, young people and parents across Gloucestershire and beyond. We are growing and growing fast! As the Community & Events Fundraiser your responsibilities will include generating fundraising income by engaging the local community through a varied programme of relationship focussed activities, events, campaigns and products. We also share anonymised information with researchers from universities who use it to study the impact and effect of the PSAL service, and follow all legal requirements for this. No identifiable information will ever be shared outside of our organisation for research purposes. PLEASE NOTE: Hours above do not include travel time between clients that you will need to allow for, (you will be paid travel time and mileage as an additional expense). Data is refreshed monthly and is anonymised to protect identities in line with our information and data protection governance. Ensure timely production of monthly financial reports (on an accruals basis) for trustees and budget holders.Place of work/hours: 37.5 hours per week – 4 days per week in the office in Mitcheldean, Gloucestershire with the opportunity to work an additional one day from home. Other duties will include processing staff expenses, supporting monthly payroll, assisting with audits where necessary and assisting with the preparation of financial reports. Larger contracts of 21.5 hours (15 client hours) or 28 hours (20 client hours) are also available in the Gloucester area. This is a brand-new role for TIC+; we have grown significantly as an organisation to a team of 110 staff, many of whom work part-time and peripatetically.
