Scanning Breath of the Wild’s Link Rider Amiibo can score you the Hylian-Hood Fabric. You can use this scrap of cloth to customize your paraglider. Assorted Herbs (Silent Princess, Electric Safflina, Swift Carrot, Mighty Thistle, Blue Nightshade, Hyrule Herb, Fortified Pumpkin, Amoranth, Swift Violet) This Amiibo drops the Pixel Paraglider Fabric to match its NES-era aesthetic. Multiple scans will also let you claim the Tears of the Kingdom Hero Armor. In some games, you can build up your amiibo’s abilities as you play, allowing you to create an amiibo character just for you!

Assorted Mushrooms (Chillshroom, Hearty Truffle, Hylian Shroom, Rushroom, Zapshroom, Stamella Shroom, Skyshroom, Ironshroom, Sunshroom, Brightcap, Razorshroom)Some amiibo are figures, while others are cards, but they act the same way and can do the same things no matter which form they're in! If you have a compatible amiibo, you can tap it while playing compatible software to power up your gameplay in different ways! While the Wolf Link Amiibo that came with the special edition of Twilight Princess HD on the Wii U made Wolf Link appear in Breath of the Wild, he does not appear in Tears of the Kingdom In Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival, tapping an Animal Crossing amiibo figure lets you use that character as your board game counter. You can also use Animal Crossing amiibo cards to play fun minigames! Amiibo rewards range from paraglider fabric to armor, weapons or materials (like ancient blades), depending on the figure in question.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has amiibo support, including previous Zelda amiibo figures and a new version of Link specific to the game. By scanning amiibo, you can get special armor pieces, weapons, and paraglider fabric. For example, scanning the Majora’s Mask Link amiibo grants you the chance to themed fabric for your paraglider, or the Fierce Deity set. Beyond that, amiibo often also have a theme running through their respective characters — such as most Link amiibo dropping a type of generic sword, or Zelda amiibo granting minerals, herbs and flowers. Image: Nintendo Breath of the Wild’s Guardian has one of the coolest enemy designs and if you’re a fan of this long-legged monstrosity’s overall look, you’ll be pleased to know that you can equip the Ancient Sheikah Paraglider Fabric that it drops. You can also pull an Ancient Blade from its chests.Forward air is incredibly strong when used off-stage — just don’t go too far out or you run the risk of your FP self-destructing at later levels. When you’re launched upward and want to clear a spot for a safe landing, use a neutral air! Pixel Fabric, Hero Armor, Sword of the Hero, knight's broadsword, soldier's shield, knight's shield Epona, Twilight Armor, Mirror of Twilight Fabric, knight's broadsword, soldier's shield (once Epona is registered) If you aren’t disappointed already, it’s time to fix that: you shouldn’t use any grabs or special moves while training Young Link. His AI is really bad about aiming its hookshot, either while grounded or aerial. This could be because his AI is an edited copy of Link’s from Super Smash Bros. 4, and in that game, his tether grab was a bit longer than Young Link’s currently is. Maybe Young Link’s hookshot issues stem from a sloppy AI port?

The Twilight Princess Link and Super Smash Bros. Link Amiibo each drop a similar pool of items, so if you only have one of the two, don’t sweat it. Diligent scanning will eventually see you add the entire Twilight Armor set to your inventory, including the cap, tunic, and trousers. You can also land yourself Link’s trusty steed, Epona, who has some of the best stats for a horse in the game. Both figurines, alongside the Twilight Princess Wolf Link Amiibo, also drop the Mirror of Twilight Paraglider Fabric. Players can use a variety of both Legend of Zelda themed Amiibo and non-Zelda Amiibo to scan in to perform a variety of features depending on the particular Amiibo. By doing so, it will cause a variety of rewards to appear: Breath of the Wild’s Archer Link Amiibo has a couple of standout drops, including the Tunic of Memories Paraglider Fabric and the Ancient Blade weapon. Update: Okay, it turns out you can get around that limitation by reloading a save from before using the amiibo, so now I can confirm that the horse fails to summon if you're in Zora's Domain and presumably other locations where horses can't travel. Banned bonuses: This is the case for most fighters, to be honest, but Young Link’s strongest Spirit combination is Armor Knight plus Trade-Off Ability ↑. He’s going to want to stay close to the stage at all times, and this build’s extra defense power will help him do just that. Remember, you can find Armor Knight via the Halberd Support Spirit in Funky Kong’s shop!

There are still some unique items only available by tapping the Zelda series amiibo, though — namely, unique paraglider fabric. You can change your paraglider fabric by heading to the Kochi Dye Shop in Hateno, and there are some rather lovely ones too. I'm also disappointed that the once-per-day restriction applies to Epona, since you're not gaining anything new by having the horse summoned repeatedly, assuming it only allows one in the game at a time. I was kind of hoping I could use the amiibo to summon my horse anywhere in the world, rather than the extremely limited whistling they put in the game that is all but useless and makes horses completely impractical to bother with. By my guess, it appears this is the spiritual successor to the “Amiibo Bin Dump v4” that was floating around the amiibo fanbase recently. If you’re looking for Amiibo Bin Dump v4, v5 or whatever new ones are out there, this is probably your best shot. Access new content in your games with amiibo! Get extra items, meet new characters and more when you use amiibo in compatible software.

You can change the look of in-game characters and expand your customisation options with themed costumes by using amiibo in compatible software.

This is part of our Zelda Breath of the Wild walkthrough, which includes All Shrine Locations And Maps and help with specific shrines, including the Keo Ruug Shrine Puzzle Solution, Mirro Shaz Shrine Puzzle Solution, Sha Warvo Shrine Solution, Shae Loya Shrine Puzzle Solution, Eventide Island - How To Beat The Hardest Shrine Quest, and Shee Vaneer And Shee Venath Shrine Answers and Solutions. As with Breath of the Wild, you can scan amiibo from your ability wheel to gain bonus items — some of which are themed to previous Legend of Zelda games. (If amiibo scanning is disabled for you, you can enable scanning functionality within the Options menu.) FYI, I tried using the Link amiibo in a town and got a chest instead of a horse. It seems you can't summon the horse in certain places? Kind of annoyed because now I have to wait until tomorrow to try again.
