Nike says “One of the biggest steps on our journey to zero carbon and zero waste is in choosing our materials because they account for more than 70% of any product’s footprint.“ With that being said, you really can’t beat the price. For what you get I think it’s very reasonably priced. You would have a hard time finding another shoe that beats it. A shoe that’s similar to the Nike family would be the Winflo 8. Both offer a comfortable ride and are inexpensive. The Winflo 8 used to come in a “wide” version but in the latest iteration, there’s only one option now. The Nike Revolution 6 is offered in a “wide” option. That’s something you could take into consideration. If we are talking about a similar shoe from another brand, I would compare it to the New Balance Fresh Foam Roav. It’s made up of 20 % recycled materials by weight. These materials come from post-consumer and/or post-manufactured.

There isn’t a whole lot of new technology used in the Revolution 6. It offers a simple design, flexibility, and what Nike calls an “intuitive touch.” A pretty cool thing Nike is starting to do is use recycled materials in more and more of their shoes. This is the case for the Revolution 6.
