Description

The pushchair was light and easy to put up and down and when folded down, it was compact and stored well. It was super lightweight and easy to lift into a small boot. The lightweight pushchair is perfect to put up when out and about shopping, which made my life easier with a five-year-old and baby.

The Chicco Ohlala Twin doubles the fun, light and compactness found in the original Chicco Ohlala stroller. Modern and eye catching, it guarantees parents and babies the same comfort and smartness of use the Ohlala2 does, but for two little ones. Easy to lift, to drive and carry, it is the perfect ally for parents of two little ones. I couldn't recommend this product due to the above reasons. Although I haven't experienced any other similar lightweight pushchairs, I felt this one was definitely not worth it’s price tag and in general, I was very disappointed with the pushchair. My son was very agitated in it because he couldn't sit upright, but also feel the seating was not the comfiest for him. The positive was that it was very compact and I was able to get two pushchairs in my car boot. It would be OK for using if going on holiday and occasional use, but wouldn't recommend this for everyday use. If you have twin babies who love interacting and holding hands while outside, this Joie Aire Twin Double Stroller might be the best side-by-side double stroller for you.The City Mini GT2 double stroller is perfect for off road walks and rough terrain. It also have a compact on-hand fold which makes getting around with two kids that little bit easier. Top things to look out for when buying your double buggy

Pros: Works well with a newborn baby as it helps to soothe the babies and reduce crying since your nearby presence is established. Despite being a double stroller, it weighs 8kg which is on the lighter side compared to many single-lightweight strollers. The Ohlala Twin seats also have forward-facing options, with each one fitted with a strap mechanism that allows for the parents to adjust the strollers into a lie-flat position.

I wouldn't choose this product again for the reasons stated above. I personally didn't like the height of the push chair, being 6 ft the handles were positioned too low – it made me feel conscious and like I was pushing a dolls pushchair! I didn't like the positions of the seat; the most upright position was still quite reclined compared to other pushchairs. I didn't like the style of the seating – it looked quite cheap and in my opinion quite dated. I didn't like the fact it didn't feel very stable and like it could collapse any point. The basket at the bottom was quite small, and obviously the handles wouldn't take a changing bag so there wasn't much room to put my baby’s bits. The OhLaLa pushchair is extremely lightweight, which makes it ideal for lifting in and out if the boot of the car. It's very easy to fold and reassemble, which is helpful with a busy toddler and it saves a lot of time (and toddler tantrums!). The steering is very smooth and the pushchair feels easy to manoeuver when out and about. This stroller also boasts extendable hoods, one-hand easy fold and a 5-point padded safety harness to ensure your kids’ safety during the ride. The best part about this stroller is that the fabric can be taken off and washed for maintenance. In my opinion, there are a lot of issues with this pushchair. The main improvements that I would suggest would to improve the quality and design of the fabrics and the seating positions. The most upright position needs to be more upright, as my baby was constantly trying to sit up and as said before, I had to loosen the straps and slip them off his shoulders so he was able to. The other improvement would be to introduce higher or adjustable handles for taller parents. Tested by mum Ashleen Cawley for the Mother & Baby awards 2018: I would choose this pushchair to win an award as a lightweight stroller, as it is by far the lightest I have experienced and it is so easy to use. That said, I didn't like the fact that my toddler didn't seem to be sat up well in the stroller – she seemed to be rather reclined even though the chair was in the upright position. I would prefer the hood to be bigger also.

I’m not sure I would recommend this pushchair to other mums. Whilst the foldability was very good, and it wasn't heavy like other push chairs I have owned, I felt the design was a little dull and boring. The colours didn't catch your eye and I feel the design on a whole lets the pushchair down, as it makes it look cheap. That said, my baby appeared to be comfortable when testing the pushchair on our walk. The Chicco Ohlala Twin Stroller doubles the fun, light and compactness found in the original Chicco Ohlala Stroller. Modern and eye catching, it guarantees parents and babies the same comfort and smartness of use the Ohlala does, but for 2 little ones. Easy to lift, to drive and carry this is the perfect ally for parents of two little ones, suitable from birth up to 15kg. Standard accessories include: partially and fully removable bumper bar, padded shoulder straps, one big carry basket and a rain cover.

Easily manoeuvrable with one joined handle

Parents! Say hello to this Joie Evalite Duo Double Stroller, which is designed for easier city strolls during the weekend. This is very easy to open and fold, but I didn’t manage to do it with one hand. Because it’s so light, it’s ideal if you’re lifting it in and out of the car a lot, and it fits in the boot really easily. The shopping basket is a good size, but it doesn’t take much in terms of weight – a box of laundry powder made it give a squeak from the added strain! Tested by mum Kate and Albert, 18 months:

Our new favourite and top recommendation for a lightweight side by side double stroller would be the Cosatto Woosh Double Stroller. It has the most compact fold which can also be done with one hand! Each seat is suitable form birth up to 15kg. There is a range of colours available perfect for two girls, two boys or both boy and girl. Twin strollers are not just for twins. You can get a double stroller for infants and toddlers too. Some double buggies can be quite big and heavy so a lot of people will opt for a double stroller. Side by Side double strollers This tandem double stroller by Joie is lightweight and has two fixed seats that are placed one in front of the other. Even though it is narrow, like a single buggy, once the front wheels are released, the stroller is simple to push. This product is good value for money and I would suggest it to mums who have a budget, as it is a good price. It is very easily folded and can be stored in an upright position without falling, perfect for storage in a small hallway. It also folds down nicely to go into a boot. Sometimes a twin stroller can be a lifesaver, but there are times when you need only one stroller for the day. Is that possible? Yes it is with this stroller from MarvyBaby My toddler enjoyed sitting in this stroller and I found the bumper bar was extremely useful. I felt my toddler was secure and comfy within this stroller. The basket is great and easy to access, although I do prefer a bigger basket. It's easy to fold and use and the design is lovely and modern – I loved the colour of the hood.
