Inside the Box First of all you have the ‘VooPoo’ style slider on the rear of the device which has a lovely smooth feel and certainly makes a difference to the restriction of the vape. Just like on the R, the fire-button is integrated in the top of the screen making it a very comfortable fire with either thumb or index finger. Also, it can be fired with the joint of the thumb, which I like most.

Please start with low wattage/temperature and increase it slowly&steadily through up the range until you find the favorite flavor of your e-liquid. I love the Kroma Z, so much so I now have 4. Very minimal leaking but that’s usually a sign it’s time for a new coil. You’ll need to replace the cord before you need to replace the device lol Please try to vape at an appropriately high wattage which is recommended on the coil during vaping. It may encounter thespittingissue if the liquid on the coil hasn't been atomized on time with low wattage. The pod of the Kroma-Z is held in place with strong magnetic connectors. To remove the pod, grip it firmly and pull up from the top of the Kroma-Z. If it won’t budge free, try pushing up on one side of the pod firmly until it pops up from the base, and then lift the remaining side up. The Kroma-Z is a equipped with a full range of integrated safety protections you’d expect from Innokin: Overheat protection, Charging protection, Short circuit protection, High Resistance protection, Cut-Off protection and Over-discharge protection.

I liked the tapered top at the rear which gave it much more style and an alternate firing grip as I found it comfortable to pop my thumb on it.Innokin have made the top and base a contrasting smooth finish which just works with the brushed steel finish of the main body. Each Kroma Z pod will hold up to 2ml of e-liquid and you can use any flavour you want with this kit. Aside from giving you more options when it comes to e-liquid, the pods also feature a side filling port which means it doesn’t even have to be removed from the device to be refilled. When it comes to selecting an e-liquid, you can use 50/50 and high PG options for the MTL coils, while the RDTL coils will work best with 60% or 70% VG e-liquid. The pod also features adjustable airflow, so you can experience either a tight or loose inhale. Build quality is excellent all round, everything is solid and smooth (threads, air adjustments etc). I haven't tried the Zlide tank yet but I did install the adapter and tank onto the mod and it reads the coil fine. Again the build quality seems excellent and if the Zlide works as good as the Zenith I own, It will be an amazing MTL tank and a massive bonus addition to this Kroma Z kit. Very happy! I started my testing with the 0.2-ohm coil, which performed best at around 70 watts. The flavor was great, and it lasted 100 mL before dying which was impressive. Just an excellent coil. Then with the 0.3-ohm coil, which I found best at around 40 watts. Flavor wasn’t as good as the 0.2-ohm coil, which was expected, but it was the best coil I’ve ever had at under 50 watts. I also got 80 mL of juice from it with no issues, which is great for that wattage. I’m a big fan of the display, it’s very bright, super clear and makes full use of its available space.

If the vaporizer is becoming hot to touch, or showing another type of malfunction, discontinue using the device immediately. Disconnect the atomizer, unplug it from any charger or cables and store the vaporizer in a nonflammable environment, such as a fire retardant bag or container. The mod feels great in the hand and is lighter weight than most mods with such a large capacity battery. Screen is clear and plenty bright enough. Controls are all straight forward with no complicated menus to trawl through.

Why does my device show “CHECK ATOMIZER”?

The first menu is pretty much all you need, but there is another SETTINGS sub-menu but there’s only twothings in there you might want to use: Timeout (screen) andCut-off (puff time limit in seconds). Coil+ andRefresh I wanted a Tight MTL vape with this one, and at 18 watts with both airflow sliders down very low, I certainly got that tight draw I was after and a satisfying vape to boot. These gold-colored rings are attached at the bottom of the pod and can be swapped out for one another to fit your preference. Currently vaping Just Juice 50/50 Nic Salt Mango and Passion Fruit - tried on both the 0.8 and 1.6 coil - great on both!
