A lyric about dancing – We really don’t think Drake can actually dance like the King of Pop, but we guess this is a funny (and cheesy) way to a girl’s (or boy’s) heart.

Carlino proficiently intersperses parts of that book within this, and we get to read it with Em, concurrently. A lyric about ambition: One of the best lines from Honestly, Nevermind, this bar by Drake is enough to give you all the motivation you need towards reaching your goal. Hey, it might even get you to the kitchen stove…This book isn't just a romance, it's about a complex main character struggling to deal with the pain of her past and the woman s Swear On This Life reminded me a lot of Colleen Hoover writings who, as you know, I am a big fan of. I loved that it was an easy, fast read and I didn’t have to think too much. I was able to just read and enjoy and guys, I haven’t been feeling like this for a very long time. On the one hand, Drake can sound like the baddest rapper around, but at other times, he’s rap’s biggest softie, yet. With both aggressive and emotional lyrics, this rapper can energize you, put you in a chill mood, but also melt your heart with his lines – I mean, this guy made it cool to be an overly emotional rapper, right? A lyric about living life –They say “do what makes you happy”, right? Well, for Drake, that means drinking and having fun with loved ones. Totally your vibes? Use this line!

I can’t explain to you how reading Em and Jase’s past affected me. It broke my heart and moved me to tears so many times. Their story was heartbreakingly beautiful and reminded me that when you have someone who truly loves you the way they loved each other, you really do have it all. A lyric about confrontation: It isn’t easy talking to people you can’t stand. If you want to make it known that you’d rather avoid the convo, use this lyric which features awesome wordplay about J. Cole.

A lyric about love – These may sound like simple words, but boy, will they strike home when your lover hears them. Let that person know that you’re also missing them. Drake did and we bet it worked. Clearly, Drake puts thought, craftsmanship and effort into his lyrics – (you hear that, Meek Mill?!) and we don’t think they’ll ever go out of style. Whether you’re a fan or not, you’re bound to be inspired or resonate to one of these catchy lines. A lyric about being great – Drake once again claims he’s the GOAT – the Greatest of All Time. From having one of the most streamed songs on Spotify to being Billboard’s Artist of the Decade (2021), he’s already succeeded enough and doesn’t need extra “love” to approve it. A lyric about relationship types: You can always rely on Drake to explain the meaning of relationships, right? This verse pretty much tells you how to define whatever it is you’re into.

A lyric about misjudging – Being pre-judged before they’ve even met you? This is something Drake and other celebrities have to deal with all the time. It’s usually those who haven’t met you that make the wrongest impression of you, right? A lyric about Taylor Swift– Yeah, we didn’t see this one coming, either. Apparently, Drake is a Swiftie! The rapper praises Taylor Swift in Red Button, claiming she’s the “only one” that could make him “drop the album just a little later.” This alludes to Drizzy dropping Her Loss weeks after Taylor’s Midnights to avoid the competition. A lyric about relationships – Drake could be rapping about a couple things here. Firstly, his fight with Breezy where tables were literally turned and bridges were burned; or secondly, overcoming the bullies in high school. Either way, this is a powerful rhyme about lessons you learn in life.A lyric about being happy – Not sure what to do? Live life! Choose to be happy until it’s all over, and you might end up just as positive as Drizzy. When a bestselling debut novel from mysterious author J.Colby becomes the literary event of the year, Emiline reads it reluctantly. As an adjunct writing instructor at UC San Diego with her own stalled literary career and a bumpy long-term relationship, Emiline isn’t thrilled to celebrate the accomplishments of a young and gifted writer. I felt sad and confused. I wanted to pinch his nose and tug on his ears for making fun of me, but I also wanted to hug him. I knew what he was feeling, and it hurt so bad it made my teeth ache. At least Jax had an older brother at home. I had no one but my books.

A lyric about hairstyles: Drake’s wordplay here throws shade in a funny way, letting us know that when he doesn’t pay her rent, she ends up with a raggedy past do’. Later that afternoon, before we parted ways at the end of the road, Jax said, “Meet me behind the shed in an hour?”

A lyric about fakery –Drake is pretty much exposing other rappers for lying about their past experiences, here. But you can use this line in other situations, like dealing with fake friends. Y’all will get exposed one day. A lyric about confidence – Drake sure had some guts rapping this bar among three of hip-hop’s greatest (Kanye, Lil’ Wayne, Eminem). Fun fact? He hadn’t even released a studio album at the time of spitting this line – we guess he knew he’d be the GOAT. After years of torment from Mikey and Alex, I hit my breaking point when quiet, reserved Jax decided to join in on their juvenile idiocy. My friend, still seemingly perplexed, asked me "So if it's not about genitals, what is it about trans women's bodies that you find so attractive?" We all gotta lay in the bed we make, but that couldn’t be Drake / You forced a lot of fake love when real ones stood in your face”
