I recently bought this Mira shower and an very happy to date. The shower is very stylish and I love having dual heads as it’s good to have a removable head for cleaning the shower cubicle. Plumbworld sold it at a very competitive price and delivered when they said they would so I’m extremely pleased with the service. Other: You will find some models using air intakes or boosted engines to give you the sensation of a higher flow, even when the actual amount of water coming through remains the same. Opinions differ on how effective these are. Next up we have the Mira Honesty Dual, which is one of the best Mira Mixer showers on their mixer shower roster. My personal favourite feature of this shower is its enormous 250mm overhead deluge, providing a luxurious bathing experience. Its Mira Magni-flo technology delivers up to 3 times more flow – even at low pressure. Key specs – Wattages: 9.8kW; Controls: Rotary temperature, rotary power, on/off button; Spray patterns: 4; Advanced features: Clearscale anti-scale, Sensi-Flo scalding protection; Minimum pressure/flow: 0.7 bar/not specified; Dimensions: 233 x 367 x 77mm

The stylish Mira Azora with frosted glass fascia and stylish chrome features is available with dual outlets. The Mira Azora dual means the users can easily switch between the hand shower or the large deluge head. This combined with Mira’s thermostatic temperature control system and superior build quality gives the ultimate showering experience. You can position the deluge overhead where it suits in best suits your bathroom, all thanks to the adjustable arm. It’s available in a range of power options from 7.5kW to 10.5kW. The latter of these gives you a little more power at the high-end than most budget rivals, while the well-designed head has five spray settings, ranging from a light mist to a jet. Users are generally impressed with the Triton’s performance and flexible fittings. Rub clean nozzles make cleaning the unit a super simple process. Speaking of simplicity, the Mira Jump has separate power and temperature controls, meaning you only have to set it once and you can enjoy it for showers to come. Features:

It also comes with an adjustable shower handset to choose how low or high you would like the showerhead to sit. Mira’s Clearscale doesn’t just apply to the internals of this model – both the showerhead and deluge have rub-clean nozzles. Making cleaning simple and minimising limescale build-up, ensuring that the Azora Dual lasts a very long time. Another great feature of this model is the separate power and temperature controls. This allows you to essentially set and forget your preference and literally rinse and repeat daily with no effort. Features: The Mira Azora Dual is a top electric shower that naturally made it on our best Best Mira Electric Shower roundup as well. It isn’t every day that you see an electric shower with thermostatic temperature control! This unit features Mira’s Clearscale technology (reduces limescale build-up), easy-to-use controls, and offers the ideal blend of practicality and style. You will love using the massive 200mm drencher head, together with the 4-spray shower head, allowing for maximum coverage. Limescale protection: This is usually handled by running through phases of increasingly cool water at the end of the shower. It’s a good idea as it protects the head’s inner workings from limescale build-up, which could eventually bring your shower to its knees. Are there any non-essential features worth considering? Want a compact, easy-to-use, affordable shower? Then the Mira Minimal is the ideal choice for you! You’d think its affordability would have some kind of negative impact on its features but it doesn’t at all. In fact, this shower by Mira was so good that it made it on our best Mira thermostatic shower list. While this is one of Mira’s cheapest showers, it astonishingly includes several of their known technologies; Clearscale, Magni-Flo and CoolShield. Key specs – Wattages: 10.8kW; Controls: Rotary temperature, push button power, on/off button; Spray patterns: 1 per head; Advanced features: Clearscale anti-scale, dual showerheads with diverter; Minimum pressure/flow: 1.0 bar/not specified; Dimensions: 220 x 332 x 97.4mmIf you'd like immediate support with your Mira shower, we’re here to help. Book a repair online to get your shower up and running again – our expert service engineers can come to you. Choose and divert between a convenient handset and a luxurious 200mm deluge shower head for a more indulgent shower. CoolShield technology is another great feature that ensures the valve doesn’t get too hot during a shower, preventing accidental scalding. Its thermostatic temperature controls make showering safe for your family too, as thermostatic temperature control is very precise. The flexible slide bar has the added benefit in that it covers any remaining screw holes from previous shower kits, making this shower a perfect replacement. Features: The Quartz’s real strength isn’t its looks, though, but its consistently good flow and excellent temperature management, with even the less powerful 8.5kW model delivering a decent shower. Popular with users and plumbers, it’s a class act.

If you’re really struggling with mains pressure and it’s affecting your existing shower, look for showers that can cope with a lower minimum pressure level and flow rate. Going for a higher wattage shower can also boost your shower power, as you will have overhead to deliver heat and pressure. What crucial features should I look out for? As well as all these awesome features, the Minimal comes with the Mira Beat shower head, which is one of Mira’s top shower heads. You are also covered with a massive 5-year warranty, so you can buy without worry knowing that in the unlikely event you have any issues, you will be supported. Features:

Shower Spare Parts

Although it has a more powerful 10.8KW heater and pump, the Decor Dual has a higher pressure requirement than the Mira Azora, and you will need a decent flow to get the best out of the overhead shower. If that’s not a problem, this is the ultimate in electric shower luxury. Jump in and wash your cares away. Many people will agree that Mira showers are some of the best on the market today and are the name we think of when we think of getting a shower. Mira designs premium shower and bathroom equipment that is perfect for consumers and installers alike. My favourite thing about Mira showers is the unique technologies they come with (e.g. Clearscale, Sensi-Flo, OptiFlo, etc). On top of that, they have an excellent customer support team, provide 2+ years on all their showers and are reasonably priced. How do I choose the best Mira shower? I would definitely recommend having a rain shower with an additional shower head as this one has much more versatile. While they are part of Kohler Mira Ltd and Kohler was founded in Wisconsin, USA, Mira is actually headquartered in Cheltenham, Gloucester, UK and has been since 1937! Mira has been creating showers in the UK for over 90 years! How long are Mira Showers guaranteed for? Controls: By this, we just mean the choice you face between buttons, dials and (occasionally) touch-sensitive controls for the shower itself. Some models will have visible temperature displays, while those designed for the visually impaired will use a chime to indicate that the correct temperature has been reached.

Been after an electric rainfall shower and saw this one. It is amazing and so much better than our old rainfall shower which ran from the combi boiler. It looks the business as well! Our Mira Clearscale™ technology reduces limescale by up to 50% so you can have a better performing, longer lasting shower. Users love the design, the consistent heat and the strong flow rate, plus the way the display flashes until the water has reached the correct temperature or shows “CL” to remind you to clean the showerhead. It’s a good-looking mid-range shower that gives you that little bit more. Only thing I would say if there was to be an improvement there’s no change of flow on the hand held shower head - but thats the only thing! It’s available in a Pro-Fit version that’s even easier to work with and includes Triton’s Dura-Flow technology to combat limescale. Dura-Flow is worth the extra cost if you live in a hard water area. As many a plumber will tell you, you won’t find a better shower for the money. And that is the end of our review! So, is the Mira Azora Dual worth it? The answer is Yes – I do believe that this electric shower is well worth buying. At the end of the day, you’d go for this shower if you would like to add some luxury to your bathroom and that is exactly what you get with this shower. Not to mention all the great features it has too.
