He mentions almost everyone noteworthy in his book, but it’s all just censored and sugar coated empty compliments with zero substance. I kno It was moving for me to be reading Tom’s stories with mental illness as I’m currently in a bit of a depressive episode. Speaking with great candor and his signature humor, Tom shares his experience growing up as part of the wizarding world while also trying to navigate the muggle world.

But Felton also opens up about battling alcoholism in Hollywood later on and his multiple attempts at rehab. But seeing him wait patiently, in full Snape mode, for his sausage sandwich took the edge off just a little. As Slytherin bully Draco Malfoy, Felton delivered a requisite amount of sneering during the eight-movie series’ early installments, then cast a more nuanced spell in the last few films. i really enjoyed hearing more about his life, and his experience portraying draco malfoy in the harry potter films. He and I were often to be found outside the stage that housed the Astronomy Tower, having 'a breath of fresh air' as we referred to it . I used to tell brief answers, and then, I'd go back to my hotel room or home, whatever it was, and just start furiously scrambling down all the bits and pieces that I didn't have the time to say.

So, originally, it was inspired by doing Comic Cons around the world and being asked questions about how we were all brought together to make the films. There will also be a simultaneously published audiobook version read by Tom, published by Penguin Random House Audio in the UK and Hachette Audio in the US. Billed as the first and only behind-the-scenes Harry Potter memoir from one of the films’ biggest stars, BEYOND THE WANDwill be published in print and digital formats by Grand Central Publishing in the US and Ebury Spotlight in the UK.

It was just that time in your life where reading was suddenly not something that was that cool to do. It’s always fascinating to see what happened behind the scenes and this offers some very nice tidbits, as well insight into Tom and how his life was before, during, and after the Potter phenomenon. It was fine, and I enjoyed it, but I was glad to get this one as a quick library loan rather than something I bought, as it's fairly short. There is something uniquely nostalgic about listening to your first movie crush talk about his time as a child on the set of your favorite childhood fictional world. It didn’t take long for fans to figure out that the capitalized letters formed an anagram of the book’s title.

And for this audiobook experience in Beyond the Wand, I found that Tom's voice immediately took me back to that place and that time, when those characters were a yearly appearance and they ruled the world's stage.I've had these stories in my head for decades, and it's been such a great experience for me to spend time putting quill to parchment. My family, and obviously the other Potter cast members, when I sent them the stories to say, "Remember this?
