It may not be reproduced in any way whatsoever without Ocado Limited's prior consent, nor without due acknowledgement. In fact, Appleton Estate is largely responsible for Jamaican rum’s consistent good reputation throughout history. The Duppy Share ensures that the Warmth, Fun, Beauty and Excitement of the Caribbean can be tasted in every drop. There are also a large proportion of pot-stills in use in the Jamaican rum industry, giving the rums a fuller body and more robust profile than those from other islands.

Also the National Rums of Jamaica is a three-way partnership between Demerara Distillers Limited, Maison Ferrand and the Jamaican government (National Sugar Company). With subtle notes of pineapple, banana, citrus, pear, honey and molasses; it is an intense and versatile white rum that is full of character. Characterised by citrus, pear and pineapple notes with a long and spicy finish, it is a very versatile liquid.Worthy Park Estate relied on its unique yeast strains and state of the art technology to produce this rum. At 63% ABV, today’s Jamaican Overproof is 10 degrees overproof in the British system; the fact that it’s 10 degrees overproof is likely not a coincidence. Its complexity adds a unique character to classic cocktails and is the essential ingredient in the authentic Jamaican rum punch, as well as the perfect companion to Ginger Beer or Ting with a fresh wedge of lime. In the event of any safety concerns or for any other information about a product please carefully read any instructions provided on the label or packaging and contact the manufacturer.

In an ideal world, we could answer this question by referring to a list of all rums imported into the US during Tiki’s golden era. The distillery was built in 1949 and was originally owned by the Monymusk Sugar Factory which began operations back in 1901.Tasting Notes: Appleton White Jamaica Rum is a blend of rich pot still rums and light column still rums and unlike many other white rums Appleton White is Aged and then filtered slowly through charcoal filters to remove the colour.

The Monymusk rums are made at the Clarendon Distillers Limited which is located on the Monymusk Estate in Lionel Town, Clarendon.

In a punch bowl add 50ml Wray and Nephew Overproof Rum, 25ml Dark Rum, 100ml Orange Juice, 100ml Pineapple juice, 30ml lime juice, 25ml strawberry/mango/Grenadine syrup. Such rums are the high-hogo barn burners bursting from the bottle at a palate melting 63 percent ABV, such as Rum Fire and J. Between these two data sources, we have a surprisingly high-fidelity list of what rums were made and sold in Jamaica during Tiki’s golden era, perhaps more complete than for any other Caribbean locale at the time. The General Wine Company sources wines from all over the world, but with a particular focus on small, independent producers. Its bold aroma and unique flavour is derived from the sugarcane grown on the New Yarmouth Estate in Jamaica.
