Although the basic plot remains the same, the situations/ events described are quite different in both versions but I can say I enjoyed reading the book as much as I enjoyed the movie (maybe the movie a bit more because of Gérard Butler ❤️❤️). I was really expecting a lot more from this book, being that it has been made into a movie but I was fairly disappointed.
