It's really nice, but not worth retail. I only bought it, because I wanted it...and couldn't wait for the price to drop. Should You Skipped It, Sample It First or Blind Buy It? Sample it (it smells like Uomo & Thallium Yves de Sistelle mix together).

But it's not quite like that - at least for me. Because immediately after spraying on, a strong coffee praline-like note can be heard next to the citric freshness when sniffing on the skin. On the other hand, a sophisticated blend of citric, flower and gourmand is created at half arm's length - for about half an hour. The top notes then begin to reduce a little so that the praline gradually moves into the first row. But this is the moment when I like to squeeze myself into the second row. Because Gourmant is not really my case ... Will I buy this again?...No, I don't see myself finishing this bottle. Like I did with Salvatore Ferragamo Uomo (two times over). First thing's first, and that is the violet leaf. Uomo Casual Life gives me slight Creed Green Irish Tweed (1985) and Kiton Men (1996) vibes with the way violet leaf is merged with the aquatic-booster dihydromyrcenol in the opening. A bright lemon and a bit of "green" cardamom (translation: nondesript green spiciness) pad out this sharp opening into something softer, then the ambroxan wooshes in. The base is not made with ambroxan like in many scents of this ilk, but rather ambroxan makes an appearance early, saddled with a weird "coffee" note that isn't coffee, just some dirty scratchy thing that juxtaposed against shimmering geranium/geraniol for freshness. The base is cashmeran woody fuzziness with a clean laundry musk floating in, wrapped in the usual tonka, linalool, limonene, and what else to give this the typical detergent musk base found in aquatics of the past. The cashmeran and weird scratchy middle comes in and out to make Casual Life a tad uneasy in the latest stages of wear, but it isn't a deal breaker. Wear time and projection are above average, so performance in high-heat or sunny day time scenarios where this would be expected to find use is adequate. Best use for me in work or "casual" weekend scenarios during warmer months.I don't usually go into the bottle, but this one is really ingenious: its light blue underlines the casual feeling of the fragrance, and there's also a silver colouring on the sides of the raised Ferragamo letters. Very suitable and something different. In addition: No separate cap, but a sprayer with cover optic, whereby the mechanics do not allow accidental spraying (trigger is retracted by finger pressure) - real cool.
