Description

When you select your colored Panes you are able to place them on a Strip that is either occupied by your Glazier or any to its right. International License and is adapted from the Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ) Libraries. Players can expect to discover new unique art and components in Azul: Stained Glass of Sintra, including translucent window pane pieces, a tower to hold discarded glass panes, and double-sided player boards and window pane panels, in addition to many other beautiful components! Azul and Sintra seem to have a similar core mechanism; grab the colors you want and push the leftovers into the middle. As the track lasts for the whole game it is fundamentally different from the original Azul where the negative track reset each round, so you could get away with a minimal amount of unplaced tiles each round.

Designed by the world famous, award winning game author Michael Kiesling, Azul evokes the beautiful aesthetics of Moorish art in a contemporary board game. I am so glad to say that Azul: Stained Glass of Sintra remains faithful to the original Azul, while meaningfully building upon it. As a stained glass artisan, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to demonstrate your exquisite abilities for king and country.I think the answer falls right in the middle -- for some, like me, these differences are enough, to others, though, that won’t be the case, it’ll just be too similar.

Azul: Crystal Mosaic contains double-sided player boards, with each board offering new challenges and exciting new strategic opportunities, plus plastic overlays for your games. Created by the world famous game designer, Michael Kiesling, Azul: stained glass of Sintra challenges players to compete by carefully selecting glass panes to complete their windows while being careful not to damage or waste supplies in the process. That said, I recommend first-time players start with the original game before diving into the sequel, just for the sake of getting comfortable with the core system.
