The Isntree Green Tea Toner is a good basic, refreshing and light toner for those with oily/combo skin types! It helps to clear away any additional cleansing residue and balance the skin after washing. The key benefit of Isntree Chestnut BHA 2% Clear Liquid lies in its exfoliating power. The 2% BHA (salicylic acid) gently removes dead skin cells, unclogs pores, and helps to control excess sebum production. This leads to a smoother, more refined complexion and helps to prevent breakouts. The accelerated skin cell turnover promotes a healthier skin barrier and improves overall skin texture. To use, after cleansing, soak a cotton pad with the product or dispense directly onto your palm. Gently apply the toner to your entire face, patting it in for further absorption. Follow with the rest of your skincare routine. This toner can be great as a basic staple if you already have good skin, but otherwise it won’t effectively treat existing acne/pigmentation or other concerns.

The Plus version is a new addition to the Isntree range and was just recently launched earlier this year. This version came in a similar 200ml clear blue plastic bottle which was easy to dispense. The clear bottle was particularly helpful as it gave me a clear indication of how much I had left in the bottle. Toners in the classical sense, were incredibly astringent and incredibly drying. Not at all conducive to healthy radiant skin and were extremely harmful to sensitive skin . They contained high levels of alcohol and were meant to remove remnant skin debris and to kill off bacteria in preparation for follow on skin treatments.

Isntree Chestnut BHA 2% Clear Liquid is a Korean exfoliating toner is infused with 2% BHA (salicylic acid) to effectively slough off dead skin cells, control sebum production, and accelerate skin cell turnover. With additional ingredients like tannin extracted from chestnut shells, it tightens enlarged pores, reduces unwanted shine, and restores the skin's oil-water balance. Hyaluronic acid, sodium hyaluronate, and hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid work together to seal in moisture, keeping your skin hydrated and nourished. To keep your skin moisturized and plump, this formula is enriched with sodium hyaluronate, hyaluronic acid, and hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid. These hyaluronic acid derivatives attract and retain moisture, providing hydration deep within the skin layers. This helps to improve the skin's moisture barrier, leaving it soft, supple, and well-hydrated. In addition to the extreme hydration effect of these two amazing toners , both toners are also formulated with Multi BSASM Plus. To the uninitiated, Multi BSASM Plus is a natural active ingredient comprising 7 plant extracts in a patented formula.The Hyaluronic Acid Water Essence contains eight types of hyaluronic acid and beta-glucan to sufficiently hydrate dry skin, as well as opuntia ficus-indica seed oil to strengthen a weakened skin barrier. Enriched with brightening and anti-aging ingredients like niacinamide and adenosine, the Hyaluronic Acid Water Essence promotes radiant and youthful-looking skin. Other products from the collection that those with dry or dehydrated skin would love include the Hyaluronic Acid Toner, Hyaluronic Acid Water Sleeping Mask and Hyaluronic Acid Aqua Gel Cream. Main cons: Wouldn’t recommend this to those who have dry skin. The first day I applied this, I noticed a matte finish to the skin after it sank in. Other products that have received love from customers and beauty influencers include the TW-Real Bifida Ampoule from the anti-aging range TW-Real. Potent in probiotics like bifida fermentation lysate to improve skin health plus anti-agers like collagen and peptides, the combination of ingredients in the ampoule boosts skin elasticity and moisture levels to diminish wrinkles and restore skin plumpness. I alternate this with glycolic/salicylic acid toners to keep my acid mantle balanced. I am sensitive to niacinamide and I have found the centella asciatica in this to be a fantastic alternative!
