The way they were self aware, always in each other's head and catching up with what game the other one was trying to play makes this more enjoyable because they weren't each other's victim.

The pieces of the puzzle, the chemistry, the consequences, the unanswered questions have me moving onto book 2 ASAP! Although I think I gave it away to my brothers wife because she thought it was adorable or something because I definitely don't have it anymore. But after so many years, she no longer believes rehabilitation is possible and wants to leave that path behind her. This story was brilliant in every sense of the word and the author did something so extremely different.I liked watching her narcissistic, I-will-always-be-the-last-man-standing tendencies rise to the surface, but aside from that she was all over the place.

But she didn’t play the cold and cunning card as well as he did and I wished there was more character development on both their parts. Putting her career first has always been a driving force for her because like most of us, it’s an underlying distraction from something much bigger in her personal life. With that purpose in mind, it actually kept me quite interested, it held certain points of suspense that made me want to read on!

There was a why to every reason and he took us on this insane merry go round journey that was filled with shocking behavior, vigilante justice, and missing puzzle pieces that we never even knew was lost. The writing will transport you into a world impossible to leave behind even after you read the last page.

Being the first book I’m reading by Wolfe, I wasn’t sure what to think about her, because I think she hasn’t been big among my circle of readers, and plus I avoided reading the reviews as well, so I was very blind. It showed how Grayson was killing and torturing people that 'deserved' to be killed because they were killers, or rapists, or criminal themselves.I’m going to do two things right now- add Wolfe to my to-look-out-for authors list and then start Born, Madly. The dialogue felt a bit robotic and monotone, but that was defeated by the over empowering monologue with both the characters. London’s every moment in Grayson’s presence was spend wondering if his emotions were contrived or sincere. She studies and evaluates the most depraved and psychotic minds in the world and sometimes gets them out of their ultimate punishment- death- by reason of insanity.

It wasn't all that attractive, and being a pacifist - murderers and serial killers and people who take other peoples lives in general? Because I am not a mermaid and the water is not my natural habitat, despite what I might desperately want. He has brutally murdered 11 people, delivering his own form of judgement, where the law failed the victims. Doctor London Nobel and serial killer Grayson Sullivan see things within each other that they shouldn’t: a kindred spirit. If you are fascinated by serial killers on a level that is not wholly academic👀 and you put yourself in a position to have unlimited access to them. He was the most interesting thing about this book, but unfortunately, his “talents” weren’t showcased enough. London Noble, a criminal psychologist, provides rehabilitation to inmates and convict murderers under the pretense of helping them, but in reality she’s no better than the criminals she treats.
