Rather than Industrial Light and Magic from the previous installments, the film's visual effects for the Transformers and Beast Wars characters were provided by Moving Picture Company and Wētā FX. In February 2022, Paramount announced that Rise of the Beasts would be the first of three new installments in the Transformers series.
