Description

The Hisense 50E77HQTUK QLED Gaming Series TV utilizes Quantum Dot Technology, which enhances color reproduction and provides a wider color gamut, resulting in more vivid and accurate colors. Additionally, the TV features Dolby Vision HDR, which supports a brightness level of up to 1,000 nits, making it capable of producing high-quality HDR content. Quantum Dot Technology and Dolby Vision HDR combine for an impressive display with exceptional detail and realism. Features Continuing the gaming discussion, the 55A7GQ’s HDMIs support ALLM (Automatic Low Latency Mode) switching with compatible devices (such as the Xbox Series X), and when switched into its dedicated Game picture preset the TV delivers a very respectable 14.6ms of input lag. When it comes to picture modes, there are a few to choose from. Those being HDR Day, HDR Night, HDR Dynamic, HDR Sports or Auto. Choosing HDR Day does make it more visible in the sun but it also makes colours look a little over the top, while HDR Night dulls them out a little too much.

The new OLED and Mini LED sets take top billing for 2021, which has led to the QLED/ULED options shuffling down the line to make space, the A7G looking to offer HDR performance at an affordable price. UHD brings sharp, realistic pictures with natural motion detail and the 50A7GQTUK is no exception. Featuring over a billion shades with Quantum Dot colour, you can get closer to reality. With smoother gradients and more vivid reds, greens, and blues, you’ll feel like part of the action no matter what you choose to watch.Hisense’s recent strong run of form comes to a shuddering halt with the 55A7GQ. Any good work this TV musters is completely overwhelmed and undermined by a contrast performance so poor that dark or even mid-bright scenes never look remotely convincing. In fact, it’s sometimes hard to even make out what’s going on.

The A7GQ also features Hisense’s propriety smart TV system, VIDAA U5.0, as well as Freeview Play with all the UK terrestrial catch-up apps and services. The VIDAA system is intuitive to use and runs at a decent speed from button press to app opening and playing, plus there is Netflix, Prime Video and YouTube in 4K HDR. There is a content discovery feature along with direct one-press buttons on the remote and there is also compatibility with Alexa for voice commands. While the 55A7GQ is cheap for a 55-inch TV, this is definitely one of those times where a low price doesn’t automatically equate to great value. The TV’s sound settings are also highly customizable, with options for adjusting bass, treble, and other sound settings. The TV also has several sound presets, including Music, News, and Movie, optimized for different content types. Network Settings Watch the action unfold seamlessly with Smooth Motion: reducing blur and screen lag for clearer, more fluid scenes Hisense has been making inroads in the UK market with its affordable and feature laden TVs over the past few years, and its latest range is its most ambitious set. The Hisense 50E77HQTUK QLED Gaming Series TV has a 4K resolution, which means it offers four times the amount of pixels as a Full HD TV. This results in a more detailed and realistic picture, which is especially noticeable in gaming and movies. The TV also supports HDR content, including Dolby Vision HDR, which provides even more vibrant and lifelike colors. 8K Resolution

The remote is a similar effort to previous and a slight improvement as it doesn’t attempt to cram as many buttons into a small space. Features Also including four HDMI and three USB ports, you can link up a range of devices from laptops and soundbars to Blu-Ray players and games consoles. With Bluetooth connectivity, you can stream content from your smartphone or tablet. And, control your TV with your voice thanks to Alexa and Google Assistant. The Hisense 50E77HQTUK QLED Gaming Series TV has built-in Wi-Fi and many network settings allowing accessible internet and other devices to connect easily. The TV’s network settings enable users to customize settings such as Wi-Fi connectivity, network name, and more. Calibration The Hisense 50E77HQTUK QLED Gaming Series TV is highly competitive compared to other brands. Its picture quality, sound quality, and features are on par with other high-end TV brands such as Samsung and LG. However, the Hisense TV is more affordable than these brands, making it an attractive option for customers looking for a more reasonably priced high-quality TV.Assembly is easy and, like before, there’s a cable clutter system to route cables through the protruding ‘feet’ of the stand for a tidier area. The stand supports the TV well, just like it did on the older model, but it takes up a lot of space. The 50A7G TV stand is well designed and easily attaches to the cabinet. There are some cable management features built into the stand. The stand color is slightly different from the rest of the TV. The model is made in a metallic dark gray with a greenish tint. The material is plastic. Connections The TV is pretty lightweight even with the stand attached, alerting you to the fact that all that glitters isn’t necessarily metal – but the plastic at the build quality’s heart isn’t apparent from any sort of regular viewing distance. The Hisense A7G series of TVs still tries to give any dynamism to the picture as much as possible, but it falls short of screens capable of producing more brightness. The picture with HDR content is obtained with a limited dynamic range in terms of image brightness, albeit with a wide color reproduction. Colors look natural and lifelike with certain HDR settings in the menu. Skin tones look right. But on the arc side, most TVs at this price point can be brighter than the A7GQ.
