The sillage is larger than the projection, and the scent trail is sweet, a bit like unlit/or "put out" fruity incense.

Although i dont know if its been reformulated or what but the sillage isnt as good as people are saying, not that its a big deal. I knew full well the visuals, even if I didn’t experience the product, and I have to say, the visuals are dead-on for Black Afgano. A few drops escaped when I opened it and now my room smells like the old houses I rented with a ton of roommates in my twenties.Top notes are cannabis and Green Notes; middle notes are Resins, Woodsy Notes, Tobacco and Coffee; base notes are Agarwood (Oud) and Incense. It stayed on skin for long, but it was all the time faint, it evolved at some point in fact, but still into something rather generic and unremarkable. Like a feel good promise which never fails to deliver, Black Afgano swirls around you and nothing is wrong anymore. The top notes are marijuana and green notes, the heart notes are resins, woody notes, coffee and tobacco and the base notes are incense and oud wood.

I tested Black Afgano for the second time today to compare to MiN's Voodoo (wearing on the other arm), as I'm hunting for a dark woodsy oud scent for the fall/winter. Even within the Nasomatto lineup, Blamage offers a compelling alternative for those looking for a nuanced leathery option. There's no denying the initial impact, and it does linger a fairly long time, but soon enough, and for the entire long duration of the drydown what takes over is a peculiar scent, both resinous-sweet and bitter-green (more precisely, burnt), which I couldn't put my finger on until I happened to hear the great savant Persolaise nail it over on his YouTube channel: a huge dose of several synthetic sandalwoods, the kind that seep into every pore in your skin and every corner of the room. The comments about "beast mode", "insane perfomance" and "a quarter spray will choke everyone around you" is mostly regurgitations of what people said about this fragrance in its first few years on the market.Evoking the scent of hashish of the highest quality, this fragrance of the woody trilogy of the house Nasomatto presents a variation around the oud and plays the role of precursor within this trend in the 2010s.

Some aspect of the labdanum’s dark, nutty, slightly leathery characteristic has combined with the patchouli to create a definite but subtle chocolate undertone to Black Afgano. It is quite a shapeshifter before it settles - initially dark and ashy, then dewy and green, before becoming increasingly balsamic and smoky. The fragrance is a well-blended hazy bouquet of medicinal oud, cola labdanum with its faintly raspberry-like undertone, patchouli, amber, incense, and vanilla, but they are really hard to tease apart. There is plenty of smoke, a fair bit of burning incense and dark woods that seem almost altered by some combustion process.Apply as desired, to pulse points behind your ear, at the bottom of your throat, on your wrist, inside your elbow and behind your knee. As i heard before from other reviews or friends this was supposed to be smelled like 6-8 feet away but this is not happening with me.

I like it, it’s resinous, a bit smokey (like an incense smoke not a dusty horrible cigarette smoke), and kind of warm and woody. I wouldn't rate this as eternal or fills a room for siage but it's powerful long lasting and announces you within 2-3 meters. ALL OF OUR PRODUCTS ARE PURCHASED FROM THE BRAND OR A REGISTERED DISTRIBUTOR AND RE-BOTTLED INTO AN UNBRANDED ATOMISER. In truth, it is extremely close to YSL’s fabulous, vintage M7, only more concentrated and potent (which is a plus, as M7 was incredibly sheer and short in duration on my skin). An opaque black water is captured in a bottle made in Italy, with a cap made of burnt oak wood in reference to the resin that is burnt and slowly consumed. Kind of herbal, amber, a tiny bit bitter if I smell my skin directly - in fact the smell on my skin does give me the impression of cannabis, but my Dutch boyfriend says it doesn’t smell of cannabis at all.
