The Wii and 3DS versions will be titled "Skylanders SuperChargers Racing" and will be a different experience compared to the other editions. SuperChargers is set for release on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii U, Wii, 3DS, and iPad. Once again all existing toys will work with the new game but of course there are many new toys for you to purchase. If you have no interest in the new Portal you can purchase a digital Portal Owners Pack, the Portal Owners Pack will provide you with the game and two digital toys, Instant Spitfire and Instant Hot Streak, for use if you haven't got a Portal connected.

A new Portal of Power is included in the Starter Pack but, for the first time since Skylanders Giants, you can instead choose to use your previous Portals to play with. Any Skylander can use any vehicle but each Vehicle has a specific paired SuperCharger that SuperCharges the vehicle when they are used together, this changes the appearance of the vehicle and gives it a boost. These challenges are fairly unique but other than the associated rewards, you're honestly not missing much. Aside from the Dark Edition's Kaos Trophy you will get the trophies in special "Racing Action Packs" which contain a SuperCharger, their vehicle and the trophy.

Although the game is super guided, like all in the series, you're not frequently interrupted with unskippable dialogue like you are in Imaginators and TT. It features dozens and dozens of different characters of different styles, types and elements that can all be used to unlock various play areas and modes within the game. The Portal Master ranks brought perks that were fun, helpful, and completely adjustable, bringing great meaning to the game and not just the Skylanders. This will allow you to play all the way through adventure mode but you'll have to skip the air and sea sections of every level in addition to the air and sea races at the Academy.

The final wave, released in Australia towards the end of April 2016, and elsewhere towards the end of May. It is extremely easy to reach Level 20 as any Skylander, especially with Nightmare mode granted and how the level-up rate in SF and TT were horrendously slow, and they were the first games where Skylanders could reach level 20. At Skylanders Academy (the game's hub world), the Great Grizzo guards an Element Gate that leads to a vehicle challenge for each of the 10 elements. Difficulty varied a lot, surprisingly a heaping of strategy is required, and victory isn't served to you at all like how it is in TT. Any additional figures you purchase can be used with a Portal of Power from any of the previous games (although, Traps will only work with the portals from Trap Team and Superchargers).

So, what is the minimum amount of stuff you need to purchase to enjoy all of what Skylanders Superchargers has to offer? They have the skylander in the vechicle, there is stealth stinger, jet stream, splatter splasher, sea shadow, reef ripper, hot streak, shark tank, and tomb buggy. Any magic items you owned from previous games, while not usable as they were before, do reward you with substantial daily bonuses, making them worth holding onto. I am assuming wave 5 will come in early or mid April because the game and all the other waves came earlier. In co-op you both control the same vehicle with Player 1 driving and Player 2 on the weapons, although you can switch at any time.
