It’s a pretty generic story but it was fast paced and due to the mass amount of characters, I didn’t have any idea who could have been the mischievous note-leaver. I knew that this was two m/f couples that are neighbors and that the woman were also involved with each other with their partners full knowledge and consent. I feel the old therapy sessions should have had distinct chapters to themselves and Kat and her husband's inability to communicate with each other on seemingly any level did get frustrating at times, but still a very enjoyable read. The resolution was also very neat and tidy: it took a couple of pages to tie everything up in a nice neat package.He’s affectionate, he always wants to be around his people, he’s empathetic and pays attention to their moods, and he’s anxious when he’s left alone.

I loved the descriptions of all the characters and how they interacted and the undercurrent that was running through the book, what was the secret, well I never saw that coming, no spoilers from me, but I thought this was a cracking good read and I enjoyed reading it.
