Commentary: So Willow has trained herself into a badass female Bratva boss...except she hasn't. She has some combat skills now, gained from training at her mom's place, but no experience, and really, it sounds like what she has is the kind of training I could get from taking my self-defense classes seriously plus a healthy dose of anger and grief. She seems to make decisions based on jealousy, spite, and hope rather than any sort of logic or foresight. But to be fair, nobody tells her anything. Leo still hasn't really explained what's going on (there are big reveals up until the very end of the book) and he hasn't told her he loves her, even though he's thought it once at the end of the first book and once in this book. He's still mean to her under the guise of causing the proper reaction and that's all the information that she has to work with. But then, while filling in as a waitress at a fancy restaurant, I trip and land in the lap of a gorgeous stranger. When no one comes, she tightens her grip on my hair and pulls down hard, yanking me towards her. “He wants you dirty,” she tells me. “He likes his women dirty.”

Leo is a ruthless, controlling, jealous, dominant and possessive man, he tries and fails to bring Willow to heel, he is unsuccessful more often than not, and he finds that when she challenges him, he definitely knows she’s a changed woman, his woman. I turn from the barred window and watch Brit glide into the room. Her beauty always seems excessive, ethereal. Like someone layered too many filters on a photo. Willow’s life hasn’t been easy, founding out she was adopted, being a terrible adopted daughter (keep in mind she was a teenager), upon meeting a man in college him convincing her to drop out to marry him, it will get a little testy before it gets better after running out on her ex. with none of her belongings, she ends up working as a waitress working with a temp. agency. When one night working the VIP, she meets what she thinks is a nice, important guys. Leo sexy as all get out Don of the Bratva, wears sexiness like a coat, if he sets, he sights on you well you will be his rather you want to or not because this boss gets what/who he wants, and lately he has been watching Willow. When her ex. comes to drag her out demanding she come home well you guessed it Leo steps up in her defense and she thanks him in more ways than one. The following day Willow gets a call from the Temp. agency with a really good paying job working in a mansion upon arriving realizing it is the man she was with the night before and him telling her that she was his and she will be his wife bearing his children but first she needs to divorce that creep of a husband. But can she live with the darkness of the man who says is to marry him especially after seeing the murder of the attorney and the same man Don of the Bratva cell killed Leo’s older brother will she run or try to run from the violence that surrounds him, will she tell him about the baby, will she reach out to the parents who adopted her and can they find happiness?Leo is patronizing - an emotionless robot who literally doesn’t change at all. Shows Willow 0 respect and forced her into a wedding and loads of other irrelevant things. I look down at my ravaged fingernails. I tear at them when I’m nervous. One nail in particular has an ugly, jagged edge. It looks dangerous, like it could do some damage if I put my mind to it. But the moment I apply pressure, it folds like a piece of tissue paper. Leo’s broad-shouldered silhouette against the dark sky beyond. The last glimpse of him I got before I was taken away.

Her eyes go wide and her head jerks towards the door as though she’s just heard something. There are moments when I wonder if there’s not something seriously wrong with the woman. Plot: Leo has been searching for Willow for almost a year now and finally locates her. She's been with her birth mother, Anya, and has changed, maybe for the better, maybe not. She's given birth to their son and has started training to become stronger and more suited for life in the Bratva, but Leo is concerned that she's not ready for the confrontation to come. No matter what, he'll keep her safe throughout everything. this entire book makes me want to throw up, and I have low hopes for society if people think THIS IS OKAY. Ravaged Crown is Book One of the Solovev Bratva duet. The story concludes in Book 2, Ravaged Throne . I guess that doesn’t stop it from being true. Nor does that stop it from driving me insane. It’s been on an endless loop inside my head for the last week. Viktoria Mikhailov. Viktoria Mikhailov. I am Viktoria Mikhailov. This is a mafia forced marriage romance I mostly liked it the writing was good but the two main characters pissed me off so much and this did affect my overall enjoyment. Leo Solovev is Bratva and he has an agenda one that involves Willow Reeves soon to be Powers. Willow is in an unhappy abusive marriage and she wants out but her husband has no intentions of letting her go that is until Leo enters the picture totally taking over and giving her little choice regarding her future by his side. Willow is constantly wet. She obvious she enjoys being dominated. Pushed around. Spoken to like garbage and the tap is just on constantly.
