We would recommend a 25% new food to 75% old food ratio for the first few days, and if all the signs are good, moving to 50%/50% after ~4 days, 75%/25% after ~6 days. Finally, move to 100% of new food after 7 or 8 days if your cat continues to respond well and tolerate the new food. In addition, we would recommend to keep your regular feeding routine, mealtimes and eating areas the same while you are transitioning your cat to their new food.
