It measured in at around 72 decibels in our testing. A little louder than some other newer iO handles like the 4,5 and 6. Yet a bit quieter than most other Oral-B brushes nonetheless. The round charger has no protuberance. It does have a 2 pin power adapter, and supports 100-240v. It takes up to 3 hours to recharge the brushes on this stand.

This is great, I don’t know why brushes usually take so long to charge. But, few of us need such rapid charging. There is no unsightly protuberance on this stand, just a slight convex zone in the center that aligns with the concave base of the iO7’s handle. Aside from all the bells and whistles the iO 7 advertises, we were most excited to see if it could do the one job an electric toothbrush should be able to do and that is to clean your teeth. The handle seems durable and it passed both our drop test and water test. However, it is not as stable as some other brushes we tested, and it will tip over easily if you are not careful.
