Also, the author chose to introduce a bunch of new characters and world-building in this volume which were not as well integrated as in the previous two. But I do like the art, which sounds condescending after I just complained all over the book, but I actually do. The style is clean and incisive and the expressiveness of the illustration works for the angsty brooding scenes, the over-the-top melodramatic scenes, and everything in between.

In terms of romance, I really really love that the ML respects MC's decisions. He doesn't forcibly (without any flimsy reason) push for a romance or falls in love with him as if it was a given. But their romance slowly blossoms through continuous interaction with each other, both of them mutually curious about the other person. Yes!! Show us that love!! It's so funny. This is what really sells it for me. I would love it even without the humor, but with it, this series just really does it all—it's such an enjoyable experience reading it. The manga's actually based on a light novel and I've read the whole first season already.I can't wait for the next chapters of the manga because their relationship's going to change for good. The light novel was lovely and eloquently written.😭😍 Nov 25 i☆Ris the Movie - Full Energy!! - Anime Film Teaser Visual Revealed at i☆Ris Live Stage in Anime NYC & i☆Ris First Performance in New York Successfully Completed The art is AMAZING—not just the style (which I think is what most people tend to focus on), but also how the artist uses the art to tell the story through paneling, pacing, facial expressions, etc. The list could go on!I love how decisions of the romantic interest of the MC are in favor of the health of the MC rather than by possessive.

Here I am, writing a review for a manga adaptation of a light novel, a review that I’ve put way more thought into than the genre can probably justify. It’s called a light novel, Alex. The clue is in the name. But I’m getting married in a couple days and my brain copes with stressful situations by hyper-fixating on trivial subjects. QED, I’m on Goodreads writing an unnecessarily detailed review with an unnecessarily detailed explanatory introduction, instead of you know MY MARRIAGE VOWS [laughing/crying emoji]. Aresh is developing romantic feelings for Kondou, feelings he hasn’t yet admitted to himself but which are becoming apparent to those around him. He continues to have sexual sessions with Kondou. Without telling Kondou how he feels, the latter thinks this is a burdensome chore for Aresh not the growing closeness of a lover.La trama no se centra únicamente en el romance, ni tampoco lo deja de lado al punto en que te haga preguntarte si llegarán a algún lado. De hecho los asuntos políticos y financieros van muy de la mano con el desarrollo del romance entre los protagonistas.
