Description

The extras on the DVD are quite good but in some places it turned into a bit of a Tom Cruise love fest but still entertaining and informative.

Unraveling the Legacy of The Mummy lasts eight minutes, seven seconds and features Sommers, Fraser, visual effects supervisor John Berton, producers James Jacks and Sean Daniel, film historians Steve Haberman and Sir Christopher Frayling, makeup artist Nick Dudman, actors Rachel Weisz and John Hannah, and author Stephen Jones. But hey, I understand it’s the movie business and if you can sell it once, you can sell it again (and again). A soldier of fortune, Nick Morton plunders conflict sites for timeless artifacts…ones he sells to the highest bidder. A mum who used a work's pre-payment card to pay for nursery fees and a carpet has been told her children won't keep her out of prison forever. Yes it very much helps and I have certainly borne it in mind but there will come a point where a court says you can't go on doing this sort of thing and relying on you personal circumstances to save you from imprisonment.

The court heard how she made full admissions on interview and offered to pay the money back if a payment plan could be made. When Jenny, Nick and Vail rappel down to an antechamber unearthed by human war, they unleash Princess Ahmanet, accidentally setting off a series of otherworldly phenomena. While Nick is into the adventure as much as he is the adrenaline rush, Vail has no qualms about admitting he’s only in it for the money. After all it has already inspired a spin-off in The Scorpion King which, of course, is a major component of a movie franchise these days.

Here we hear from Sommers, Berton, Dudman, Daniel, Fraser, Jacks, Vosloo, Weisz, Hannah, visual effects art director Alex Laurant, ILM visual effects supervisor Daniel Jeanette, CG animation supervisor Dennis Turner, computer graphics supervisors Michael Bauer and Ben Snow, lead Viewpaint artist Catherine Craig, CG sequence supervisors David Horsley and Ed Kramer, and stunt coordinator Simon Crane. Katie said as a teen she was "very skinny" but started gaining weight when she battled bulimia as a teen. However, many other segments - particularly the creepy ones in the tombs - were very compellingly rendered, as they used the surrounds to terrific advantage.I will say that its not a horror, at no point did I jump or have any sense of fear/apprehension, in my mind a 12 rating would suffice. Ultimately, the soundfield usually seemed visceral and involving, despite a few mildly lackluster segments. But he developed a drug addiction, becoming hooked on coke and anti- anxiety pill diazepam as he enjoyed the limelight. The mum, who has a history of dishonest offences, admitted fraud by false representation after taking money over a three month period from the end of 2021, Teesside Crown Court heard.
