You can use the selector button on the bottom of the MX Anywhere 2 wireless mouse to pair it with up to three devices. When the pairing is complete, the new device configuration window will automatically close. The MX Anywhere 2 will be visible in the Devices list in the Devices and Printers window. I asked Logitech about this perceived acceleration to confirm whether my hunch was correct, and the company provided us with the following statement: After glowing green for 5 seconds when the mouse is powered on or waking from sleep, the LED indicates battery status. Color Oh yeah the unifying USB receiver recognized my older Logitech keyboard , MK700 and the USB cord has a nice little velcro strap to secure it. Nice touches.

Using the device selector button, select 1, 2, or 3. You can save up to three devices to memory on the mouse. The Anywhere 2 can only be adjusted to 1600 DPI maximum, whereas the 2s can go up to 4000 DPI. Plus, the 2S has an estimated 70 days of battery life, whereas the 2 can only managed 60 days, so it’s around 15% better in this regard. Before we look at the MX Master and MX Anywhere 2, a couple of notes: everybody’s hands are different, and my impressions may not match your own. It’s probably a good idea to go get some hand time with these mice before buying, or to buy them from an online retailer with a solid return policy. Indeed, my impressions of these mice changed over time, and for the better. Both mice are wireless, and they each come with one of Logitech’s tiny Unifying USB wireless recievers. The dongle isn’t necessary for those with Bluetooth Smart-equipped PCs (better known as Bluetooth 4.0), though: each mouse can connect via Unifying and Bluetooth Smart. This mouse allows you to use it with up to three different computers. Just use the Easy-Switch™ button to change the channel. Select the channel you want and go to the next step. Those complaints aside, both of these mice were good performers for day-to-day work. The three onboard pairing profiles for Bluetooth and Logitech’s own Unifying recievers work seamlessly on both mice, and moving between computers with different wireless protocols and operating systems always went without a hitch.

The LED blinks slowly until fully charged, when it is lit steadily. (The LED shuts off when you remove the cable.) Logitech’s MX Master and MX Anywhere 2 are a pair of stylish, comfortable productivity mice with eyes on the executive suite—and they have prices to match. Are they worth it? NOTE: If you can't locate Devices and Printers, set the Control Panel to View by: Small icons. You should then be able to see all Control Panel items.

MX Master 3S

Now, another interesting feature that I know you’ll all love is the Logitech flow which allows you to effortlessly navigate across up to three computers and copy and paste images and files between them. The mouse uses the darkfield laser sensor which costs it to flawlessly work on different surfaces, even transparent glass. The DPI is set up to a maximum of 4000 which means greater precision and sensitivity during normal use.
