If you're interested in a low-profile gaming keyboard with dedicated media controls, check out the Razer DeathStalker V2 Pro.

Corsair didn't change much aside from the switches, so if you're coming from a different K60 model, you'll feel right at home here. I much prefer the Cherry MX Low Profile Speed switches with the Corsair K60 RGB Pro and the software support is far superior, which is also why you pay a small premium for such luxuries. The Corsair K60 RGB PRO Low Profile is available only with Cherry MX Low Profile RGB Speed switches. He's been involved in technology for more than a decade and knows a thing or two about the magic inside a PC chassis. I appreciate that both are relatively hidden; however, without dedicated media keys, the top right area of the keyboard can seem barren from afar or in certain lighting, when the sail logo is barely visible. The Logitech G Pro Mechanical Gaming Keyboard is a bit better than the Corsair K60 RGB PRO Low Profile. Each key has its own adjustable light, giving you an incredible amount of control over how your board looks.

They include the standard rainbow wave, a raindrop effect and my favorite watercolor, which sends random bursts of color throughout the keyboard in various directions -- although, there’s a lot of white in between that looks even starker with the white switch sockets. Stand out from the masses with CHERRY MV — their transparent design allows for greater diffusion of light, displaying the full radiance of CORSAIR iCUE RGB lighting.

Notably, the brush strokes on the black anodized aluminum top plate help make the keyboard appear a little more premium. However, these switches might be overly sensitive for some people and can cause more typos than usual. You can control the brightness on the keyboard using FN + F3/F4, but you need Corsair's iCUE software to customize the color and various lighting effects. The sockets contribute to more outrageous RGB (if that’s your thing), but it’s hard to ignore that cheaper-looking white plastic that you don’t have to face with more premium mechanical keyboards. Key spacing is pretty standard, so it shouldn't take long to get accustomed to typing on this keyboard.

There’s still no braided cable here, and unlike with the standard K60 RGB Pro, there’s not even an option to upgrade to a model with a wrist rest. Powerful CORSAIR iCUE Software: Enables dynamic RGB lighting control, key remaps and custom macro programming, and full-system lighting synchronization across all iCUE-compatible CORSAIR devices. It's a full-sized keyboard, making this a bad choice for those who desire ten-keyless or 60% mechanical typing machines.
