port power banks can deliver more than just a 1 port power bank. This isn’t to say that portable chargers with just a single port aren’t able to give a great charging experience. It’s just that when a charger has 2 charging ports, it means that it’s ready to offer more to the user. What You Get: Anker PowerCore 13000 Portable Charger, Micro USB cable, welcome guide, our worry-free 18-month warranty and friendly customer service. Please make yourself familiar with all related safety instructions. This is the Anker PowerCore 13,000mAh portable charger, and it SHOULD NOT be mistakenfor the PowerCore+ 13,400. Let’s take a look at what this very similar charger has to offer and if it’s truly worth getting; in this Charger Harbor Review. iPad One feature that was sorely missed and what kept the Anker PowerCore 10000 from being a near perfect power bank was an extra charging slot. The Anker PowerCore 13000 was made just to solve this problem, as it’s fitted with not one, but two output ports making it finally possible to charge two devices simultaneously. In turn of course, some compactness had to be sacrificed. Which is why the PowerCore 13000 is bigger than its predecessor. But to be fair, for most people it’s quite worth it.

Anker PowerCore 13000 mAh Charging Kick | Review: Anker PowerCore 13000 mAh

Charging is fast and efficient on the PowerCore 13000. Most iPhones and comparable smartphones that are completely drained will charge to 50% in 30 minutes to an hour. Lesser devices obviously charge faster, while higher-end models take a bit longer. As for Temperature build, it’s quite amazing because the charger can still function in -40F and 158F. Tech The answer to this largely depends on your needs. It’s also important to factor in your budget. There are plenty of Anker power banks that provide sufficient charging power for your everyday devices (i.e., smartphones, tablets). And the PowerCore 13000 is certainly ideal for such use. PowerIQ – As its name suggests, you’re getting intelligent charging from the power bank. This is effective in a couple of ways. Firstly, it ensures that your devices get the optimal amount of power distribution while they’re recharging. And secondly, it prevents your devices from overcharging and running the risk of damage. TheAnker PowerCore III Sense 10K is a beautiful charger. It comes in multiple vibrant colors and features a woven yarn surface on top and matte plastic below. Unfortunately, it only provided 4,189mAh of its expected 10,000mAh capacity. This is 42% of the expected value, compared with the 61% the Anker PowerCore 13,000 was able to achieve. Despite its aesthetic beauty and quality build, this battery dropped the ball on capacity. The Aukey 8,000mAh Power Bank was a favorite among those we tested. It’s quite slim, and a little lighter than the Anker PowerCore 13000. Out of the 8,000mAh expectation, it delivered 5509mAhs, which is almost 70%. That’s impressive, made better by three functional output ports and wireless charging (a feature that didn’t end up working on our unit). But despite this battery’s promising properties, it fell short of the PowerCore 13000’s capacity at a higher price, and it didn’t charge an iPhone 11 nearly as fast. The Anker PowerCore 13000 got to us with the battery half full. We set it on charge straight away to see how long it would take to get it up to full. After just under four hours, the battery was showing full capacity, so we’d estimate 8 hours for a complete charge cycle. So ideally you’d want to leave it charging overnight a day or two before you set off on your trip. Durability This is where the powering capabilitiesof this power bank are kind of weak. There are 2 Output charging ports on this charger, so that’s good. Both of the ports can send a Max Output of 5V/3.0A but at the same time, the Max Output of the entire power bank is 3.0A. The capacity of this unit is – as the name implies – 13000 milliamp-hours. What this means it terms of how much juice you get will depend on what exactly you’re trying to charge. This will result in both ports possibly outputting 1.5A each and the Tablet will be charging much slower than it’s supposed to.
