The Mad Hatter appears as a meet-and-greet character in Fantasyland. He is also present in the Alice in Wonderland-based mini-games where he and the March Hare dance with the player at one of their Unbirthday parties. Like the other characters in the game, The Mad Hatter asks the player to complete several tasks. At one point, the Hatter becomes the coordinator for The Queen of Hearts' upcoming Unbirthday party. He then asks the player to collect some paper so that he may begin creating the invitations. Right after, he asks the player to inform Alice about the event. He knows how to wear clothes in a very special way.” -Colleen Atwood For the film there were made several different clothes for Hatter (Johnny Depp) to wear. In Underland (Wonderland) Hatter had only one costume, kilt and during Horunvendush day, and supposedly before that day also, he wore a brown beaver felt top hat, with pink silk scarf. But his costumes colors changes as also his skin colors according to mood colors - the more he's feeling some specific emotion, the more he's clothes and skin are affected by that. The styles also changed but only a little. In 2009, Hatter was portrayed by Andrew Lee Potts in the re-imagined version Alice. In this version, Hatter runs the tea shop where people in Wonderland get the emotions that are extracted from captive humans. Hatter is part of the rebellion against the Queen of Hearts, and is somewhat hard to decipher at first. He turns out to be a "good guy" in the end, as well as a romantic interest of the re-done Alice.
